Critic’s Corner: Far East Movement – Animal

FM_Animal

The Far East Movement is a group that has managed to create a huge amount of buzz especially in Southern California. I first heard some of their material in 2003 on a concept album called “Movementality” and it’s astonishing to see how big they’ve gotten since then. They’ve managed to get song placements in major films and tv shows all the while constantly touring, fliming, and promoting. “Animal” is their 2nd album so do they fall into a sophomore slump? Check after the jump to find out.

Critic’s Corner: David Choi – Only You

David Choi is your perfect example of an internet star. His youtube videos have skyrocketed his fanbase and popularity in the last couple of years allowing him to experience a large amount of exposure. Till recently he was known for his deadpan expression, dry humor and tongue in cheek wit, and most of all song covers and talented musicianship. Back in October he released this full length album entitled “Only You” so here’s the review. Better late than never.

Worst Ever: JaeWon’s life

Ah Jaewon. The 5th member of H.O.T. and who had no real distinctive purpose in the group  (like the other four of the jackson 5), the 3rd wheel in JTL, the irrelevant solo artist… just can’t seem to succeed.

AllKPop reports that Jaewon had been accused of raping one of his trainees. Lord can only hope she was of-age but was this really what its comes to? Of course he denied the rape and said it was consensual and the girl shortly dropped the charges thereafter but oh how things have changed.

My biggest question is who would willingly choose Jaewan to shape and manage their career? It’s like asking William Hung for vocal lessons.

Personally I just think the girl had a bad case of soju-goggles.
