The Vox Merger releases new MV

Asian American MC akim and his group vox merger (akim, mighty ro young)  just released a new MV for their single “Reasons” featuring bamm and rexx banner. I was actually introduced to vox merger’s music by akim himself. It’s good classic hip-hop. Plus it’s always good to see a multi-cultural group.

The video has pretty great production values for an indie piece and overall the song is good stuff.
Only part that wasn’t completely up to par was rexx banner on the hook. He got a bit repetitive.

Still, a recommended listen/view.

Didn’t realize but the video is apparently done by Todd Angkasuwan. Always good to see new work from him.

Ayumi Hamasaki sings Dragonball Movie Theme Song

Ayumi Hamasaki has been selected to sing the theme song for the upcoming (probably crapfest) Dragonball movie.
Yea, the one that has a white goku and ex-g.o.d. band member Joon Park.

Ayumi Hamasaki has been selected to sing the theme song from the Japanese manga, Dragonball for the American film, “Dragonball Evolution”. The release date for the song will be announced later and will be performed in Japanese.

In an official comment, Hamasaki said, “I hope both old and new fans of ‘Dragonball’ throughout the world will enjoy the film.”
