We previously reported Waner Music Korea’s plans to release this remake, and thanks to the good folks at ARW I saw the live performance and it’s very mediocre.
I would probably be more forgiving if it were an original song, but DJ Shine flipped it almost exactly like Flo-rida, only with less swag and more boring. What can I say, I guess a guy’s gotta eat. Sigh, I miss the old DT days.
Pop girl group Jazmin recently released footage from a performance on their youtube channel of their single “Like You” live at the Hollywood Music Summit Showcase @ King King in Hollywood.
The song itself is pretty decent/catchy. I just wasn’t feeling the breakdown in the middle with the exchange between the male vocal and the girls. It came off kinda awkward live. But the rest of the song was great though I think they tend to show a little more charisma when they are doing their acapella thing.
And i’m still crushing on Celia.
Child musical prodigy Charice Pempengco has recently released a single, ‘Note to God’, to iTunes & Amazon. Although Amazon’s bestseller list flucuates hourly, the single did reach #1. Source: Amped Asia
