Marie Digby releases Japanese MV for ‘Feel’

Marie Digby has released the new (Japanese Release) music video for her single ‘Feel’ from her upcoming album ‘Breathing Underwater’. The song has a very Apologize (ala One Republic) type of feel. I’m no expert on her song catalog but it’s the most “pop produced” sounding record I’ve heard from her so far.

The video itself is cool but a little dull. What do you think? I also wonder what her first American single is going to be.

WTF: Johnnyphlo – The Notebook

Another week, another WTF.

This time we’re brining you The Notebook, Johnnyphlo‘s debut mini album from earlier this year. Well actually Johnnyphlo himself has put it up for free download on his website so we really didn’t do anything haha. Previously you could only get the album by purchasing via pay pal or at one of his shows, so if you never got a chance to cop it, get it now!

You can always check out our review before you download but it’s definitely a recommended album.

Tracklisting and link after the jump.

David Choi interview w/ Popseoul

Youtube legend David Choi was interviewed by Popseoul, a KPOP blog. They touch a lot on his connection to his Korean roots along with his friendships with other rising asian-american media artists. Be sure to check it out!

An interesting excerpt:

P.S.: What do you think about the Korean artists like Se7en, Rain, BoA, the Wondergirls, who are trying to break into the American market?
DC: There are two sides to it. The positive: good for them that they’re trying to achieve success. They’ve been able to collaborate with big producers. But just b/c you’re big in Asia you can’t move in. I think they way they managed to do it was wrong. As an artist, I think they need to interact with fans. I like the grassroots thing and I like interacting with them. I think they forgot to do that.
