The Canadian hiphop collective known as Drunken Fists have released a new music video for the song “Big Bossin’”. I just heard about this group recently so I’m not too familiar with their material but from the looks of this video, they are definitely a solid group. Looking forward to hearing more from them.
The track is from their mixtape “Open Bar – Drinks on Us”, available for free DL.
Passion’s back at it again with a new original entitled ‘Undefined’.
Heller Everone!
A song I started about 3 years ago but never finished. Until last week in Vienna, Austria after finding the inspiration to finish it. A song that was inspired by my gf, Claire ( i love you hunny).
Have you ever met someone that made you feel a certain way and you tried to describe, explain, or define, the way they made you feel, but you end up not finding the words to describe because it’s just indescribable? Sometimes, people are just best left undefined. That’s what the song is about.
It may have taken a few years to finish but it was well worth the wait. It’s an upbeat acoustic number that has sweet lyrics and a fun melody. I’m digging this one. This guy is crazy talented.
Just as promised, IBU dropped their new album yesterday, available for purchase at several participating retailers including iTunes & Best Buy. We’ll have a review for you (eventually). But if you’re in the mood for some new r&b jams then pick it up now!
This is the message they posted on Myspace about it:
The dream we had one year and a half ago is now a reality. We know what artists go through when producing an album. Our first CD gave us a dose of it, and we were reluctant to take on this project. But our passion to write, record and perform music prevailed. We are very happy and proud to release this album. We’re thankful to our management, songwriters, producers, the media, and music industry professionals who supported this project. Most of all, we are thankful to our fans for their encouragement and continued loyalty. We are truly Inspired By U.
Tommy:
It was a long journey, but we made it. We put our heart and soul into this album and we hope that everyone out there feel the love, pain, joy and all that was put into it. Much love goes out to everyone that’s been with IBU 100%, most of all, to our family and friends, my mom, my brother and lastly my dad “Old Guy.” If only I can be half the man you were. We’ll see you again someday. We love you all

Mike:
Our passion for music helped us overcome the challenges and obstacles while working on this album. I thank God for the gift of IBU, my parents, family and friends for their support and understanding, and to all our fans who gave us the validation that we’re doing something right. Much love to you all!

Jonathan:
There’s not enough space in here to say thank you. First off, God, for all the blessings you have given our group, to my family and friends who have put up with this unpredictable way of life I chose to live. Thank you in believing in me. To the rest of the people all over the world who continue and support and believe in IBU, we dedicate this album to you. Enjoy!
We reported earlier this year that Crown J had plans to break into the US industry and it looks like he’s another step closer to his official debut with the US version of his single “I’m Good”. What we’ve now learned is the Korean MC has enlisted the help of Young Dro to feature on the track, you can check the preview teaser below.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the original Korean single, and that hasn’t changed with this US version. While the beat’s catchy Crown J comes off as a bit cheesy and unauthentic. But hey that’s just me. Do you think he has what it takes? Or will this be another instance of a single that gets very mild attention before vanishing into obscurity? *cough* Se7en *cough*
If AJ is successful in his campaign, then it may be true.
This is a song he wrote last year called ‘MidKnight’ written about The Dark Knight himself.
song i wrote last year (2008) about the struggles that Batman & Robin have being a superhero.
i’m trying to get this song heard by the people working on the new BATMAN MOVIE! help me by spreading the word and by downloading the song here: http://glowing-vision.net/music.htm
word of mouth is still no. 1 for getting good music out there! also, i appreciate the criticism and over-analyzing but can we just listen to the music! no matter what direction it’s going, the beginning piano line fits the emotion of Batman’s solidarity and his longing to avenge his parents who were killed because of crime when he was young. let’s be optimistic here! i can agree that the whole song itself is an unrealistic goal to have in the movie, but one can only dream that even a part of this song make it into a movie of epic proportions.
So spread the word and let’s see if we can make it happen! With some arrangement tweaking I can totally imagine a pop rock band like Daughtry turning this song into an anthem.
