Passion Releases a Cover of ‘Great is thy Faithfulness’

Singer Passion has just released a cover of the hymn ‘Great is thy Faithfulness’ as a free download. He sings it beautifully and with a lot of heart. Passion seems to be a man who stands by his beliefs and I respect that. I imagine a lot of fans will be blessed by this release.

Here’s his explanation behind the cover:

This is one of my favorite hymns of all time. I know that we don’t all believe in the same things, but thing song means alot to me. An oldie but goodie. I hope you guys are blessed by this song.
I cannot take credit for majority of the pictures because I found them on the internet. But I wanted you to see some pictures of creation. The fact that sometimes we feel like our problems are SOOO BIG, but when we look at God’s faithfulness and when we look at all these beautiful things in the world, and we realize that we have a bigger God than our problems, that’s when we realize that we can trust in Him and know that things will be okay.

Dawen Interview w/ AARisings

AARising has just posted up their feature interview with R&B singer songwriter Dawen. It’s fairly in depth but helps you gain an insight into who Dawen is and how his experiences and musical idols have influenced and defined his sound. He seems to be a very level-headed guy and very self aware, which is definitely harder said then done, especially for musicians. They talk a bout a lot of different subjects but if you got some time I recommend you check it out!

Clara Chung Performs Cover Medley Live

Don’t miss this great cover medley of Clara Chung singing a medley of “Use Somebody” and “Fallin’ For You” live at an event called REVOversary. I really enjoy how she does’t take herself too seriously and likes to interact with the crowd. Her voice is so soothing! Anyway, it’s good to see a full clip of her since most of her videos are usually edited heavily with only glimpses of the instrumentation. This girl’s talented.

Is it just me or does she strap up real high on the guitar? haha

Summerbreeze x Legaci Cover ‘Forever’ By Chris Brown

Summerbreeze has collabed with Legaci again and as always this team has put together an awesome cover. This time they chose to do ‘Forever’ by Chris Brown. What’s different about this set up is that Summerbreeze isn’t limited to just guitar duties as he flexes some of his vocal prowess. They add a fun acoustic vibe to the song and make it completely their own.

YOO! here’s another collaboration with my musical compadres, Legaci! Kina Grannis Releases MV for “Valentine”

Kina Grannis has just released her new music video for ht single ‘Valentine’ off her upcoming album Stairwells. It’s a great song and a great video! The video is simple but very well done. That domino/animation set up must have taken forever to set up! I really enjoy Kina’s style in both song and general creativity and all of it definitely transitioned well into this production.

You can get the single ‘Valentine’ here for free but make sure to also pre-order the album which drops February 23rd. I’ve a feeling it’s going to be well worth it.

Jennifer Chung Premieres ‘The Way You Do’ MV on MTV Iggy

As promised, JC has premiered her latest music video for the song ‘The Way You Do’ exclusively on MTV Iggy.

It’s a very laid back song and video that has a cheerful, warm tone. Even though the video is simple, I really like the setting on the beach as the sun goes down. I thought it fit the song perfectly. The song may not have any vocal gymnastics or crazy video production but it certainly deserves a spot on your mp3 player.

I wonder when it will be officially released as a single.
