Singer/songwriter Alfa Garcia was featured in a short documentary by Dave Dodds (her drummer) that profiles the NY-based artist. It’s a great in-depth look on Alfa. We typically don’t have the luxury of such an informative and well produced look at an artist and so this is very much appreciated. It’s almost like a mini episode of Behind the Music. A very recommended watch.

Lilian Bui Releases the Last 3 Songs of the Series
Lilian Bui has been releasing a song roughly every week for the past 10 weeks as a series of recordings from her self-titled project. The last of the 3 songs were posted up and continue her quirky, soothing acoustic style. There’s an endearing quality to her music and we very much recommend you check them out (Here are some of our other posts about this series of music). If you were to check out only one of the three, my personal favorite is ‘Sailboat’.
Song#8 is called “I Wouldn’t Mind”:
Check out the other two after the break!
Seoulful Concert Promo w/ Danny Cho & PK
Check out this rediculous promo ad for the Seoulful Concert we announced previously that will take place in April.
These guys are hilarious. Great parodies of some well known KPOP songs. This event clearly has some backing, could it crop up and emerge as a rival to the Hollywood Bowl for the honor of biggest KPOP/Asian American event? We also received word that AATheory is giving away some tickets to the event so head on over there if you’re tryna score some free passes!

Read on to find out more about this group who has been working hard since winning ABDC a couple seasons ago.
You can catch the entire script after the break or head on over to AMIN.

IYAZ Is a Fan of AJ Rafael, JRA, Andrew Garcia’s Cover of Replay
Remember that cover we posted of AJ Rafael and JRA covering Replay along with some help from Andrew Garcia? We were huge fans of their version and apparently so is IYAZ. It’s crazy to see them get acknowledged by the original artist but I guess talent recognize talent! Awesome exposure for the guys!

Showdown: Esna Yoon vs Clara Chung
Welcome a-Tunes readers. It’s time for another showdown and this time it’s match up of Southern Californian female Korean-American artists Esna Yoon and Clara Chung. They each do their own unique/quirky spin on the Lady Gaga mega hit ‘Bad Romance’. Each rendition/video has it’s own charm but the question here is which one did you like better? Check them both out below.
Esna Yoon
Clara Chung
Honestly I think this is tough one! I like both versions a lot because neither was boring or played out. Both of these girls are so talented but regardless, vote away!
