454 Releases Performance Footage from Their Release Party

Last weekend 454 Life Entertainment threw a big release party in San Jose and it wouldn’t have been complete without a performance set from the crew. After an introduction from guests the Far East Movement, the fellas jumped into ‘Go Hard’ along with a bunch of other songs. The video quality is great but the sound gets pretty distorted at times. It looked like a pack house though the energy seemed to vary throughout the span of the footage.

The Wonder Girls Interview w/ MTV Iggy

MTV Iggy went behind the scenes on one of their photo shoots and got to ask each member questions one on one. It’s pretty crazy how much their has improved over a short period of time. The girls are definitely working hard and I oculdn’t help but notice how genuinely tired and homesick Sohee appeared to be. I hope they are able to all get some downtime and rest soon! Although they are the most successful Korean crossover group so far, no one can say it came easy.

The Wonder Girls arrived in New York City in May and answered all our burning questions — in English! Lim, the Wonder Girl’s newest member talks about how she’s been fitting in and Yubin dances to 2PM’s “Heartbeat”. You can hear all the girls show off their fluent English skills, and catch sneak peeks of the Summer of Fun photoshoot. Make sure you watch until the end though — Sun forgets someone very important! The Far East Movement Go Behind the Scenes of Their “Like a G6″ Shoot

You’ve seen the MV, but how you can see the making of it where they take their “free wired” lifestyle and portray it in the form of a music video. They show love to their usual K-Town LA spots and explain briefly about each scene. The shoot went all night before finally wrapping at 4 in the morning. There’s no question, these guys work hard to play hard.

Gerald Ko Shares New Original Song – “The Parade”

Gerald Ko (aka Singingdork888) has been kinda quiet for a while but he’s returned from his little hiatus with a new original he calls “The Parade”. I like the melody and arrangement but the vocals in this take could take some dirtying up with more edge and grit. It’s got a Gavin DeGraw type of feel to it. I’d like to hear him track a studio version of this with time to rough up the singing a little.

Lyrics after the break.

Every clip this guy releases is gold. Check Jason Yang team up with beatboxer Jake Moulton in this video where they recreate DJ Shadow’s “Organ Donor” in a completely fresh way. There’s always something so intriguing about musicians jamming it out and this proves it. No lyrics are gimmicks, just raw talent and a little help from some sweet distortion pedals.
