D-Pryde Remixes “Fireworks” by Drake
The kid D-Pryde has got a new remix out, this time of Drake’s “Fireworks”. The original featured Alicia Keys but D substituted Tamra Davis instead. What really stands out this time around is the video. It’s a lot more robust than your typical Youtube remix video, featuring a lot of footage he’s compiled over the years. DL it for free.
Here is the long awaited “Fireworks” music video. Sorry I haven’t uploaded it in a long while, I was working on a lot of things since I got signed by a new label. But thanks to all of you who have patiently waited. It’s here! Tamra Davis is the feature on the song, so make sure you check her out and subscribe to her, PRETTY PLEASE?

MissCarolinexoxo x Hippie Hippie Hoorah x FlowEthics Remix “Take Me There”
Back in 1998, an unexpected hit from the Rugrats sound track by Blackstreet, Mya, Mase & Blinky Blink was released called “Take Me There”. It’s crazy to think the song is 12 years old but a new ensemble group of musicians decided to follow suite and collaborate on a remix. MissCarolinexoxo, Hippie Hippie Hoorah and FlowEthics all jumped on the track and put their own acoustic spin. (Speaking of acoustic, catch them all at tomorrow’s Kollaboration Acoustic 4). This remix is sick and is a great throwback.

Legaci Interviews w/ NorthJersey.com

The incredibly talented R&B group Legaci just had an interview posted on NorthJersey.com, written by none other than singer/songwriter Alfa Garcia. It’s a short read but they drop a lot of tidbits on what it’s been like since they started touring with Justin, along with a few hints of possible things to come. Make sure to check it out either after the break or directly at NJ.
Clara Chung Interviews w/ AKP & Maypang’s AMIN
Clara Chung stays busy and during her recent trip to NY she interviewed with a number of blogs including AllKPop & May Pang’s AMIN. If you’ve got about 15 minutes to kill you should check out the interviews below. The AKP one shows a bunch of clips from the performance, giving you a pretty good idea of how it all went down along with a bunch of fun questions while the AMIN clip is more indepth and of the more typical Q&A format.
Sam Hart Sings a New Original – “Still My Dream”
Sam let the fans choose the subject matter for his next song and this was the outcome, entitled “Still My Dream”. In general I like this song more than some of his other recent originals. It has a sweet tone to it and it’s cool how he incorporated idea’s from his fans. I’m not 100% fanatic about it though, it’s still a bit flat in energy for my tastes.
“You should write about goals that kids have when they are little, like being an astronaut, king, ect. And how it all turns out in the end.”
Thanks everybody for your amazing ideas! There was a lifetime supply of brilliance. I ended up incorporating a number of other entries into the song as well – it ended up having a love song spin.
It’s about how sometimes we don’t realize what it is we really want in life until it falls on us.

Illmillion Drops New Single – “Dedication [This is For You]“
Illmillion gets his Drake on again, making use of the autotune for the entirety of his latest single – “Dedication [This is For You]“. Now I’ve said it before but I’m not crazy about the overuse of autotune but I will admit that Ill does a pretty decent job with it. That being said this won’t make my list of favorite tracks but it’s a decent listen. DL it here for free.

JL x Smaals x Manifest Release – Bloodsport
Why dont you close your tuesday evening with a Hip-Hop banger? Two of the Beautiful Cycle crew, JL & Mani linking up with frequent collaborator Smaals for a new track they called “Bloodsport”. I need to watch that movie again. Anyway, for the hooks, intros, outros.. it’s just three straight raw verses. Only thing I have to ask is, can we get the mp3 to DL?
Heather Park Shares Harlem Performance Footage
Ever wonder what Heather Park sounds like live? You should check out the following clips taken from her recent show at the Shrine in Harlem. She’s posted up four songs, two from her upcoming album Stay and two from her previous release Dream in Pictures. The best part aside from the great live R&B vocals is that you get to hear a little context behind each song, making the viewing that much richer. She sings “Trust You”, “Endless Possibilities”, “3 Meals”, and “I Forgive You”. The girl may be tiny but she sure can sing with some soul.

Mia Kim Interviews w/ Chaotic Content

Singer/Songwriter (and apparently actress/photographer as well) Mia Kim has got a new interview out with Chaotic Content, a music licensing & cataloging group. Since her material has been added to the portfolio, they did a quick little spotlight on the artist, talking about her experiences making her last album, her creative process, and what’s next. You can check it out in full after the break or make the jump to CC.
