The latest EP, entitled Once Upon a Time in China, from Drunken Fists member J. Moy is now available as a free download. The album cover reminds me of all those late 90′s era AZN graphics by Jonny Ngo. Haven’t had the chance to listen to album in full yet but if some of you need a refresher, he dropped the single “On My Way” that is included. Never to be the one to keep his fans in want, D-Pryde returns with a new song/video for a quick freeverse he put together titled “La La La”. The song’s nice and it’s clear that Pryde is no slouch on the mic. The video is just footage of him chilling with his friends, not a whole lot of value added but I can appreciate the kid’s love for Arizona beverages. You can DL the song for free here.
FM’s single “Like a G6″ has been shooting up the Billboard charts and the market sales tracking organization took notice, featuring the group on their website. Besides their recent success, Billboard also reveals some details about FM’s upcoming major label debut – Free Wired. It looks like we can expect features from some big names like Snoop, Keri Hilson, Lil’ Jon, Pitbull and Ryan Tedder of One Replublic. In fact, the collab with Ryan is currently slated to be FM’s next released single. Look for the album October 12th!
Here’s another Bay Area collab with Adrian Per linking up with Pmac & Jvoqalz with a new track they call “Live Without Ya”. They flip a motown sound sample making for a decent, upbeat song. I wasn’t really feeling how the hook was done. In general I enjoyed this one but I wouldn’t say it’s a complete homerun. You can DL it for free via the widget below.
