The all female duo, violinist S.O.S. & MC K.N.E.W.D.L.E.S. – collectively known as Misnomer(s) have officially announced the upcoming release of their new album entitled American I(s) … get it? Anyway it’s slated to drop at the end of the month, on September 30th. Be on the lookout for it in a couple weeks. This one has been in the works for a while so it’d be interesting to hear the final product.
The acoustic crooner Joseph Vincent has announced that he is now a part of the Catch Adventures Management family; former home to the Far East Movement and current host to acts like Jaeson Ma, Jin, Vaness Wu. In the interview with ChannelAPA he reveals how he jumped into music at first, his style and favorite genre, being on Ellen, and linking up with Catch. You can look forward to a 5 song EP that he’s working on along with a music video, mixtape, and performing. Congrats to JV. Can’t wait to see what’s in store!

Victor Kim continues to prove that he’s not only a talented dancer but musician as well. He shared this footage of him at what looks to be Rutgers University in New Jersey. He takes Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds”, Bruno Mars’ “Billionaire”, and Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours” and puts his ukelele spin on it for a tropical influenced medley. My favorite part about this clip is how enthusiastic the audience is. We need more of that type of support!
The talented and beautiful Marie Digby recently sat down to talk with ChannelAPA. She talks about how she fell in love with music, her album Breathing Underwater, being involved with Lilith Fair, and some projects that are in the works. It looks like we can expect a new japanese language album along with her 3rd english album in the states in the near future. It’s good to hear from her!

Saw this earlier over at AHHT, but it looks like he recently got engaged and is scheduled to wed 10.10.10. His fiance’s name is Michelle Park and the ceremony is supposed to take place in Seoul. It’s crazy to see where life has taken him both professionaly and personally the past couple years. On a side note, the dude slimmed down like crazy haha.
But we too want to extend a huge congrats to Chan and wish him and his wife to be the best!
