I recently came across A.M. Kidd after he was strongly recommended by one of you readers (we read/listen to your comments!) and have started to check out his material. But for the rest of you, old and new fans alike, you can learn a little more about him simply by checking out this recent interval he did with IAAM, a teen focused site. Head on over to their site or catch it in full after the jump.

AJ Rafael Shares a New Original – “Without You”

Singer/songwriter/Youtube star AJ Rafael hasn’t shared much new material lately, but that changes today with his new song “Without You”. In this video, it’s a piano ballad with a pretty good arrangement and melody. I think this song has potential once it’s laid down in a studio. There’s something about AJ’s voice that conveys emotion well, helping to portray these slow songs effectively. Interestingly enough, this is actually something he’s trying to shop to fellow Youtube sensations Ahmir and their album. We’ll see if it makes the cut!

Kero One Shares Teaser of Upcoming “Stay on the Grind” MV

Bay area MC Kero One is getting ready to drop a new MV for his song “Stay on the Grind” featuring Hip-Hop veteran Ohmega Watts. The song is off his previous album Early Believers. I didn’t know K. One could skateboard! Anyway the video is set to drop soon but you can get a behind the scenes glimpse of what’s to come from the multi-talented artist.

Here’s a little teaser of what’s to come in my latest music video Stay on the Grind feat. Ohmega watts off my last album Early Believers.  Backtracking a bit, Ohmega had introduced me to director James Cheeks, who had been directing his documentary “On the Grind” .  His documentary documented the long beach skate scene in the aftermath of a shooting that killed Black Mike, a local professional skateboarder.  It seemed very appropriate to collaborate with James on this video.  Check it out…

Bruno Mars Drops a “Grenade” (MV)

Singer/hit maker Bruno Mars has released a brand new video off his Elektra debut Doo-wops & Hooligans. The song is “Grenade” and is one of my favorites off the album. I’m digging the imagery and metaphors in this video, as it really drives the point home. It’s completely different from his last couple MV’s, that’s for sure. The album is only 5 bucks for a limited time off AmazonMP3, plus they are offering a $3 credit, bringing the price down to 2 bucks at the moment. The album isn’t perfect but its well worth more than 2 dollars.

Lil Crazed Drops “Daddy Loves You”

I’m always a fan of when music is used to represent real life experiences. Here mid-west based rapper Lil Crazed shares a new song called “Daddy Loves You”. It’s simply a song to express the love he has for his sons. His kids are adorable and it’s heartwarming to see how proud he is of them. Buy the song now on AmazonMP3 & iTunes.

I wrote this song for my kids, obviously. There are no words in the entire world that can describe how I feel about them. I am blessed to be a father of two and especially these two, Alijah and Isaac. I decided to release this song today because it’s Alijah’s 3rd birthday today (November 20th). Please support and purchase the song on iTunes! Produced by Mike Kalombo.

To clear things up:
-I’m not married.
-I’m not divorced.
-Alijah and Isaac have the same mother.
-She’s still around for the kids, but we are not together.
-I’m 22 years old.
-Alijah is 3 and Isaac is 20 months old.

D-Pryde Remixes “No Hands” [Free DL]

Waka Flocka, Wale, and Roscoe Dash had a decent hit with the song “No Hands” and D Prizzy was a big enough fan of the track to drop his own remix to it. It always amazes me how sick this kid’s flow is. He’s years beyond his age. This is a pretty dope remix and of course it’s a free DL. I’m looking forward to this dude’s album.

Kina Grannis Shares New Single Co-Written w/ Fans – “Someone Else’s Heart” [Free DL]

Singer Kina Grannis has been having an on-going participation with her fans and viewers where she’s invited everyone to help co-write a new single. I can’t even imagine what the liner notes would look like for this song but that’s besides the point. You can hear the track below; it’s called “Someone Else’s Heart”. Not bad, not bad at all. And of course Kina sounds great on it and this was such an awesome way to keep her fans involved. DL the song here, after all – many of you are a part of it!

Joseph Vincent Releases New Single & Performance Video – “Life of a Man”

Joseph Vincent does’t seem to be the kind of guy to let his momentum go to waste. He’s just released his new single “Life of a Man” on iTunes & AmazonMP3. If you want to hear a bit how the song sounds like check out the live performance video below. He sings a simple rendition featuring an acoustic guitar against a beach backdrop. Oh how I envy you Californians. True to his style it’s a chill single. Make sure to support the guy if you’re feeling it!
