I feel like everyone is in a giving and wonderful mood when it comes around the holidays! Even though, Dumbfoundead is in Korea, he still thinks about his fans on YouTube by giving out 2 free songs for the holidays. Do you guys remember the song “Clouds” with Jay Park and Clara Chung well they remixed the song and I have to say it sounds okay. Personally I like the original better because I find the instrumentals to the song is a better fit. Don’t get me wrong because the instrumentals sound nice but it’s too upbeat for the song. The other song he gave out for free is called “Hey There”(Make You Proud) by Diji Parq ft. Dumbfoundead. I’d have to say this song is something I would jam too in my car. The song gets you in a happy mood, I think it has to deal with the beat to the song. If you’d like to download the songs, just click the free download link here.

MBC Star Audition(위대한 탄생) – Megan Lee
Megan Lee has been in Korea for about a couple of weeks now. You ask, why is she their well its cause she’s there for an audition called MBC Star Audition. It’s like American Idol but Korea style. As Megan sang a small snippet of a Korean song and the judges were really hard on her since Megan’s Korean speaking abilities limited her from pronouncing the words right in her performance They reminded me of Simon from American Idol but they found it in their hearts and let her pass the audition. They think she’s capable of learning the words to the song and be a talented singer. I think she’ll make it far as well if she works hard, she has great talent for such a young age. We’ll see how far she goes, as the auditions go on.
Cathy Nguyen ft. AJ Rafael – O Holy Night (Cover)
Finally, a new freaking video by Cathy Nguyen! Who else has waited for her to come out with a new video, cause I know I have! Right after their cover of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”, I guess they decided to make another cover for Cathy’s page since it’s been a while. It looks like Cathy hasn’t lost her touch in singing because this cover was very enjoyable to listen too. Just like their other video, their voices matched with each other very well. The only thing I would simply change is either they sing louder to hear their wonderful voices or don’t play the guitar as loud.
Aj Rafael x Cathy Nguyen – God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (Cover)
Mr. Rafael has come out with his 4th cover of his Christmas Series of songs! This time he has the lovely Cathy Nguyen with him to cover the song, “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.” I’ve kind of forgot how lovely Cathy can sing but she sang marvelously. I liked it when they added the bass and guitars after a minute into the video but also I wouldn’t have liked them in there either. This video seems like the type of video where it would have sounded better if it was just the vocals and piano. Plus all the instruments cover the vocals throughout the video, hearing the vocals are very important! From what I could hear, AJ’s voice went really well with Cathy’s. One thing about these videos is that I feel like he tries to rush through to cover the song. He needs it down just a notch.
Surrilla x Decipher x Mike B Remix “Pokerface”
Lady Gaga’s “Pokerface” may not be so fresh anymore, but this random remix dropped by Surrilla, Decipher, and Mike B is still pretty nice. It’s pretty interesting to here a pop staple flipped into a Hip-Hop track. It would have been more newsworthy had this dropped around the same time as the original but I can’t complain too much, a good track is a good track. You can DL the song for free via the widget below.
AJ Rafael Interviews w/ The Star Scoop

One of Youtube’s most popular artists, AJ Rafael, has a new interview out with the Star Scoop where they talk a lot about the online video streaming medium, his path to where he is now, and how he feels about the industry as a whole. There’s a lot of discussion on his various collabs through the years along with hints at what transpired over the year as he talked with major record labels. I thought it was a great read and encourage any fan to check this one out. You can read it after the break or head on over to the Star Scoop.
Decipher x J. Reyez x DFD x Flowsik x Chan x Johnnyphlo x Jay Park x Ailee Release “Catch Me If You Can” Remix

As promised, the awe-inspiring line up of artists contributed to the remix track has finally been released! Ailee’s amazing introduction really launches you into the track as all emcees’ verses flow right along. It’s a great listen and also makes you want to put the song on repeat. The track is too hot not to snatch up as it’s listed as a free download here.
Lyrics after the break.
Melissa Polinar Shares Studio Version of “Say You’ll Stay”
Back in March, Melissa Polinar shared an original called “Say You’ll Stay” and one of my biggest thoughts was how I’d love to hear a studio version. My wish was granted as it looks like it made the cut on her new EP titled As of Now, set to drop at the end of the month. The verdict? It’s awesome. It’s a great song and gives me strong hope for the rest of the EP. Jesse Barrera had a hand in the production and you can tell. The studio version definitely has his fingerprints all over it.
Gabe Bondoc x Ramiele Malubay Release “Hot Chocolate”
The very talented couple of Gabe Bondoc & Ramiele Malubay have pulled another Sonny & Cher and crafted a great single together called “Hot Chocolate”. It’s a winter/Christmas themed original and they seem to complement each other very well in the song. It’s a slow, warm kind of track that matches the title perfectly. Almost makes you want to get into a joint snuggie with a loved one, sipping hot cocoa by the fireplace as snow gently falls in the background. Almost. It’s available for purchase here.
Clara Chung Loves This Time of Year
When I’m feeling blue or just content, Clara’s music always puts a smile to my face. Even if it’s just a simple song. Clara covered the song “The Most Wonderful Time of The Year” by Andy Williams. Her videos are always unique, this video goes with the song very well. I really like the where she put a marshmallow over her stove top, acting as if she was roasting them outside. Even though she doesn’t show herself singing the whole video, I know she still sang and put a lot of effort into the cover. I just wish that she could have synced the video better.
