Voices For Hope Benefit Show at GMU in Virginia – January 8th, 2011

This Saturday, at George Mason University in Virginia, an benefit show called Voices for Hope will be held to help raise Child Abuse Awareness. There is a pretty strong list of musical and spoken word artists slated to perform including the band Ivy Rose, Ryan Bandong, Keshia Lee, Vincent Lacsamana, Mike Yi, Alex Cena, Chris Santa Ana and Melissa Polinar. It’s a great mixture of local and national talent, coming together to support a great cause. Tickets are $10 dollars pre-sale, $15 at the door.

Andy Suzuki & his band The Method have quietly dropped a new single called “Take Care of Me”. This type of music really suits the band and I gotta say I really enjoyed this song. The instrumentation is very well done too, just wait till the end where it crescendos.
