Here’s a simple street music video from Furis for a track called “Slow it Down”. It’s a chill track that stays true to Furis’ style and looks to have been shot in and around his hometown of LA. The picture quality is decent but I’m not too big a fan of the camera work. It’s a bit shaky and unfocused at times but at least it doesn’t depreciate my enjoyment of the song. IZ of 454 Arrested & Detained in LA
In an unfortunate turn of events, IZ aka IZreal, of 454 Life Entertainment was recently locked up and is currently being held at a penitentiary in LA. Two of his group members, Thai & Drew Deezy, let the world know via the youtube below. Jackie Chain Interviews w/ HalfKorean
HalfKorean.com always does an incredible job featuring mixed artists, and the trend continues with a new in-depth interview with Southern rapper Jackie Chain. The article goes into detail on his music, including upcoming album I Ain’t Slept in Weeks, his child hood & cultural experiences, being signed to a label, being active in the Asian-American music community and more. Sean Rhee Releases “All Alone” [Free DL]
Sean Rhee is making sure we never go too long without a new drop from him. The bilingual rapper has another song written mostly in Korean. I thought it’s a dope track, but I’m kind of a sucka for those old school, soulful beats. We haven’t heard from veteran rap artist Chosen One in a while, but he has got a new track out called “Place Your Order”. With the first listen it’s pretty clear what the song is all about, an ode to knocking boots, doing the deed, the horizontal tango, baby making, s-e-x. Haha.
