Snapshot: BoA & the Giant Pizza Pie

It’s been a long time since we last posted about BoA. In fact it’s been well over a year, nearly two since she dropped her US debut album (that unfortunately was pretty much a non-starter). But we thought we’d break up the monotony of all these posts regarding new singles and music videos to bring you a little visual humor. Check out that pizza pie.

In the picture, BoA poses with a massive pizza box that one can only assume was for her and her staff. But even if she were to eat it all, who are we to judge? The girl has such a crazy work ethic/schedule, I wouldn’t blame her for tryna get her pizzapizza on.

That’s it, I’m ordering some pizza for dinner this week.

J. Reyez x Jay Park Release “Maybe One Day” [Free DL]

Here’s a new drop from Canada’s J. Reyez and Seattle’s Jay Park. It’s a more standard Hip-Hop track that I’m sure all the Jay fans will gobble up. So how does the J & Jay team-up work out? Actually, they seem to complement each other well. J’s verses were decent and Jay continues to improve with each drop. Are they two of the nicest lyricists out there? No but they did their thing on this track. Actually my only real complaint was the beat. I thought it was a fairly generic choice. But nevermind me, go ahead and DL the track for free here.

Flu x The Yellow Boyz Release “Limited Edition” [Free DL]

Flu, who some of you may know from Jin’s 2010 Hip Hop Census mixtape, has just dropped the official lead single off his upcoming Asphalt & Aerosol mixtape. It’s a southern type of track featuring The Yellow Boyz (Passda & Jeniside) and it’s entitled “Limited Edition”. They chose a great beat, and did a pretty good job with the track though I didn’t love it. It’s enjoyable thought I felt that the beat hit harder then they did. But that’s just me, judge for your self cause it’s a free DL!

MC Misfit Drops “I Keep”

We haven’t heard a new original from Misfit in a while. The last thing he dropped was a Dev remix but this is a new original entitled “I Keep”. I’m beginning to realize he kinda reminds me of a west coast Drake. That’s a good thing. This is an enjoyable, laid back grack – though not as nice as “A Million Miles Away“. Anyway, hopefully we’ll be hearing more and more new material from the guy.

Illmind x Skyzoo Premiere the MV for “Langston’s Pen”

Producer Illmind recently linked up with Skyzoo and dropped an album a few months back entitled Live from the Tape Deck. Well now they have an MV too, for the song “Langston’s Pen”. The track is just some straight up hip-hop, and I like it like that. No hooks or superfluous effects – the song simple features great, simple production courtesy of Ill and some nice bars from Sky. They make a dope team.
