Andy Suzuki & The Method Release “Good at Goodbye” [Free DL]

Andy Suzuki and the Method have a new EP in the works, and they continue to release it track by track. The next cut is called “Good at Goodbye” and is another strong release. It’s a little bit more upbeat than their last release (“Take Care of Me”) and more fun instrumentation wise. The song is mixed very well and I enjoyed this one a lot. I think most of you will too. The song can be bought for an easy 99 cents but is free for a limited time if you sign up for their mailing list. If you’re in the NY area, I would recommend checking out one of their live shows.

Gerald Ko Interviews w/ The Other Asians

Here’s a great little interview of Gerald Ko aka SinginDork888. He shares a little bit about his life outside of Youtube, including his musical background, his upbringing, what his typical day is like along with a whole slew of random facts. I especially enjoyed reading his insights on being an Asian-American, growing up in a hyrbrid of cultures. It’s an easy read so head on over to The Other Asains to peep the interview in full!

Notorious MSG Shares New Heavy Ghetto Promo Video

The Notorious MSG are equally ridiculous as they are hilarious. This is yet another example. A simple, short acoustic promo video where they song about their upcoming album. I truly have no other words… just a mixture of laughter and confusion… which I imagine may be their purpose all along.

Jackie Chain Drops MV for “Mr. V.I.P.”

Jackie Chain is going full steam on his grind, releasing another music video, this time for the song “Mr. V.I.P.”. This is for any of you not familiar with his many aliases. The song is a decent Southern Hip-Hop track though the video is decidedly low budget and more of your typical visual fare. If you like the song, you’ll likely enjoy the video. Jackie’s album should be due in the near future so look for his promotional activities to continue ramping up.

New Decipher Music & Video – “Decipher That” [Free DL]

New drop from Philly’s Decipher. Ill have to share my thoughts later but this one is reportedly for the hip hop heads. Its also a free dl from his bandcamp via the widget below.

[edit] OK, I’ve had the chance to peep the track. First things first, this beat knocks. It’s a dope track that brings him back to his more raw Hip-Hop roots, the song is a rapper’s rap of sorts. Dope drop from MUzO and great use of the projector for the visuals.

FM Drops the MV for “If I Was You (OMG)” ft Snoop

As expected, The Far East Movement have dropped their latest MV for their 3rd single off the Free Wired album called “If I Was You (OMG)” ft Snoop Dogg. Knowing VEVO, you can’t view the video directly from this blog but go ahead and click on the video below and it’ll take you directly to the VEVO page. Don’t forget to check out the behind the scenes footage we posted up a few days back too. I won’t be able to check this out later so I’ll post my thoughts then.

[Edit] After peeping the video I can say it wasn’t initially what I visioned for this song when I first heard it back in October… but it still works. Stylistically and color wise, it’s a lot of fun with interesting visual touches all around. As for the video itself, it’s a bit random and in a way silly but somewhat refreshing in comparison to your average rap video. It’s mildly entertaining to say the least.

D-Pryde says his “Life Is Great” (Original)

Guess who came out with another original, D-Pryde of course.  Ever since he was signed to Mars Music Group, he has worked hard on getting out music.  This video was really laid back, compared to his other videos.  We know D-Pryde can get lyrical but he didn’t spit any “hot” bars, I still enjoyed the video.  One thing I liked about this video is that he used his real friends and family, he didn’t use random people.  This song is something you would listen to if you were just chillin’ in the car driving or obviously, at your house hanging out with friends and family.  Let’s see if his next video will be more serious than laid back.  If you like this song, get it for free here.
