Paul Kim Leaks Original Version of Vanness Wu’s “Sail Away”

Here’s another Monday leak from Paul Kim! The track is called “Sail Away” and as some of our more internationally minded readers may realize that it sounds just like a song of the same name done by Vanness Wu for his album last year, Reflections. That’s because the leak is the reference track that Paul recorded for Vanness to be included on the album. It’s yet another example of great talent supporting their own community. You can DL the song for free here. If you want to compare, listen to Vanness’s version below.

Nump Trump Leaks “Macho Man Randy Savage” [Free DL]

454′s Nump Trump teams up with The Stooie Bros. and Paul Wall for a new track called “Macho Man Randy Savage”. It’s one of the tracks that will be on his #DAILYMEDICATION mixtape due out in a couple days. The song is definitely party oriented though not something that had me jumping out of my seat though it’s a pretty big look for them to get Paul Wall on the track. If you can’t wait for the whole mixtape to release, you can pick up the song as a free DL here.

Paul Dateh & Jane Lui Present Violince Episode 9

Continuing with his highly entertaining Violince series, Mr. Dateh has brought us the 9th installment featuring the amazingly talented Jane Lui. They play some classical Liszt and throw in some of the trademark slapstick comedy to boot. It’s only a couple minutes long but a  fun watch as always. See some behind the scenes footage here.

Azuré & Arnold Return with the MV for “As the Glove Spins”

If you’ve been looking for that more classic sounding type of Hip-Hop you just may get your fill from the latest by Azuré & Arnold. It’s a joint called “As the Glove Spins” and has a laid back, old-school type of sound that I dig. It’s off a mixtape entitled Illusions of Oasis which I unfortunately don’t have much information on the availability of. Az is pretty consistent with these drops, pretty impressive.

Meg & Dia Release Cocoon Album

We’re kind of behind in posting this but the sister fronted band of Meg & Dia have recently dropped their latest album entitled Cocoon. It’s an indie release featuring 11 tracks, recored in a cabin up in Tillamook Oregon. If you’re the kind of person that likes to try before you buy you can peep the album in full via the widget below. Besides purchasing from Bandcamp, the album should be available on iTunes & Amazon too. Looking for a physical copy? Got ya covered there too, pick it up from their online merch store.

The Far East Movement Performs “If I Was You” for Perez Hilton

FM has certainly got to the point where live performance clips aren’t too hard to find online, as they continue to tour the world and make appearances on various TV shows. We decide to share this one with you because it’s a little different from what you would normally see from them. In this video they are performing their latest single “If I Was You (OMG)” for Perez Hilton but the entire set is a lot smaller and more intimate than usual. In fact you get to see them hands on with some of the instrumentation themselves. A pretty dope clip if you ask me. Check it out at PerezHilton.

Jenny Suk x Adrian Per Remix “Deuces” [Free DL]

This is a pretty impressive clip. Jenny Suk teams up with Adrian Per for a remix of the Chris Brown song “Deuces”. It’s an all acoustic version with no percussion and it’s darn smooth. Jenny’s vocals are great match for this type of track and Adrian Per’s raps are stronger than some of the past work I’ve heard him on. Overall I was feeling this joint. It’s a free DL so if you like it too you can grab it here.

Blue Scholars Perform for Knocksteady

Dumb and company put on a podcast series called Knocksteady live, and last week featured Seattle’s Hip-Hop duo the Blue Scholars. They came through to interview, perform, and just plain chill. You can plain DL the entire podcast on iTunes but for your A/V pleasure they’ve posted up the footage from the live in-studio performance. Can’t wait for their Cinemetropolis album to drop.
