Gowe x Erin Kim are the “Stars In My Eyes”

Last Fall, Kollaboraiton Seattle kicked off their inaugural event featuring a number of performers, with two in particular going on to work heavily together after the competition. Winner Erin Kim and finalist Gowe have collaborated on a number of tracks, but one that may have had the most promise was their promo joint for the Kollab Seattle 2010 trailer – “Star in My Eyes”. Well after all these months and a high demand, the duo couldn’t deny their supporters and have just dropped a complete version of the song & MV. Great production values on both the visual and audio fronts, anchored by a solid song all around make for a winning package. Props to the Seattle crew on the strong release!

In a media saturated world where the pursuit of materialism & fame runs rampant, Gowe’s latest song “Star In My Eyes (Feat. Erin Kim)” touches on the concept of staying true to ones self.
Also, in his latest single, Gowe experiments with a different sound while remaining pure to his lyrical content & delivery. We hope you enjoy “Star In My Eyes”!

City Boy Asks “What If”?

“What If” is the latest drop from City Boy (not to be confused with the Summer Breeze song of the same name) where he takes a few minutes to get introspective and reflect on the impossible question. It’s not the cleanest mix, nor is it especially stylish in any way but rather its a simple straight forward, strongly written track – and that’s something I can appreciate. If you like what you hear, go ahead and grab the song as a free DL here.
