Maribelle Anes Features in the “Melbourne Rock Anthem” MV with Kimmi Smiles & Louna Maroun
The young youtube star from down under known as Maribelle Anes has recently contributed to a remix/cover project of the ubiquitous ”Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO. She joined Kimmi Smiles and Louna Maroun for what they have appropriately re-dubbed the “Melbourne Rock Anthem” where they do a decent job of creating the spirit of the original MV. They didn’t exactly re-invent the wheel but it’s still pretty impressive what kids can accomplish now.

Blush Debuts with “Undivided” featuring Snoop Dogg
Here’s something new. Blush, a new Pop act formed as a result of the Project Lotus Talent Search, is dubbing themselves as “The World’s First Pan-Asian Girl Band”. While I’m not sure if this is 100% true, they do seem to have one of the bigger buzzes of anyone else I can recall. Comprised of Victoria, Alisha, Natsuko, Ji Hae, and Angeli with ethnic roots that can be traced to China, India, Japan, Korea and The Philippines, they are promoting a new single called “Undivided” featuring the one and only Snoop Dogg. Catch the music video directly below and their live performance on So You Think You Can Dance afte the break. It’ll be interesting to see where they go from here!
You can pick up their single from Amazon & iTunes.
Watch the Jayesslee Interview w/ City News
Korean-Australian Youtube sensations Janice & Sonia Lee, better known as Jayesslee, have a new interview out with City News, a Christian organization based in Singapore. There aren’t too many video interviews of the twin sisters out there, so this is a welcome change from the usual web-cam performances that they are most well known for. You get to learn a little bit more about their faith, plans, and even about the dynamic between the two.
Aero-K Releases the Kiddies Mixtape

Aero-K of the Troubadours has a new mixtape out simple titled Kiddies where he remixes a pretty wide variation of songs – from Jay-Z to Flying Lotus to Kreayshawn to KPOP’s SNSD. As you can imagine, it’s kind of a mixed bag of tracks where Aero experiments with different sounds, styles, and concepts. It’s a little hit or miss but as a free DL you can’t complain too much. Get it via bandcamp below.
‘Rockapellas’ – An Acapella Album by Rocky Rivera

Attention producers! If you’re looking to put your talents behind one of the nicest female rappers doin’ it right now, here’s your chance. Rocky Rivera (formerly known as EyeASage) is the latest to drop acapella versions of her music (mostly from her Pop Killer mixtape) for beat smiths, DJs, etc to put their own spin on em. So don’t miss the opportunity to switch up songs like “Slick Talk“, “La Madrina“, “Daydream” and more. Rockapellas is a completely a free DL, available here.
Jackie Chain is “Finally Moving” with a New Remix Video
There’s a new promo video circulating around by Alabama’s Jackie Chain. The southern MC drops a freeverse over the music from “Finally Moving”, originally by Derek Vincent Smith aka Pretty Lights. It’s a surprising but great choice of instrumental, and Chain uses his signature flow to give the song a different type of vibe. The visuals are sharp but nothing unexpected – though it works decently enough as a promo watch.

Chosen x Furis Bring Out the “Sunrise” MV
Rapper Chosen One decided to spit over a Nujabes beat (“Counting Stars”) and got Furis to jump on the track and help close it out. Chosen put together a little comic book style MV though the productions values are somewhat lacking to say the least. A pity since the song itself is actually on point, where as the visuals just don’t do it justice. Check out the clip for yourself below.
