Arizona’s City Boy is about to drop another official MV and has posted up a sneak peek at what’s to come. Looks like he’s gonna be tapping into his acting skills a little bit for this one. I gotta say though, based on what I’ve heard so far… the beat selection is on point. There’s no official word on the release date but I imagine it’s not too far off into the future. To make your life easier you can either check your crystal ball or just check back with us at a-Tunes to see it’s debut.

freshKiDD & J. Rican Navigate “The Friend Zone”
Things have been a little quiet in freshKiDD‘s corner lately but today brings us a new song she collaborated on with J. Rican called “The Friend Zone”. It’s a slightly shorter song, clocking in under 3 minutes however I think it’s a solid R&B/Rap type of track with a fairly even mixture of singing and spitting. Topic wise should be pretty obvious based on title alone haha. Like the song? Lucky you cause it’s a completely free DL here.
afterschoolspecial Unveil the MV for “Not One for Words”
“Not One for Words” has always been one of my favorite tracks from the San Diego band afterschoolspecial. The understated acoustic guitar instrumental layered with DANakaDAN’s off-kilter rock-rap flow makes for a pretty good combination and this short MV is another strong companion to the single off their album It’s All In Your Head (and originally from their Not One for Words EP). Look closely and you can spot the other band members in the video as well.
Adam Warrock Features on Mega Ran’s “Pump It Up”

Random, aka Mega Ran, enlisted the help of Adam WarRock for the song “Pump It Up” based on the Mega Man Pump Man stage. The song is off the upcoming concept album by Ran called Mega Ran 10, due in November. I imagine this type of song may have a bit of a limited appeal but I think this is a pretty dope track. The song is currently available from bandcamp and you can name your own price. If you’re interested in the lyrics you can find em after the break.
Marie Digby Reveals “Your Love” [MV]
Here’s a pleasant surprise. Marie Digby (one of the earlier artists to gain buzz/recognition from Youtube) has just unveiled the music video for the title track from her upcoming album Your Love, due September 4th. The video was shot on location in the Philippines and first debuted on MYX TV but has now been released to the rest of the world online. It’s been a couple years since her last album (Breathing Underwater) so I’m looking forward to hearing her new work.
