Jasmine V Releases the ‘S(HE) BE(LIE)VE(D)’ Mixtape

Teen singer Jasmine V has released a new free mixtape for her fans entitled S(HE) BE(LIE)VE(D). Kind of cynical for such a young gal huh? Well regardless, it’s a fun collection of youthful Pop songs including her single “Werk“. There are a dozen tracks on this release and the collection can be yours for the price of a tweet or e-mail. If you’re interested than you can preview the tape via stream and DL it directly from her website. Not a bad way to keep interest up until her rumored debut album drops.

Roscoe Umali Features on “The Ballad of Lost Angels” by Deux Process

“The Ballad of Lost Angels” is a new track by Deux Process that features some one we haven’t heard from in a while… Uuuuuumali. It’s good to hear that “The Freshest Filipino” hasn’t lost a step as he contributes to this strong West Coast Hip-Hop track. I gotta be honest, I miss listening to rap music like this – too many rappers are on that Drake/Big Sean/Wayne tip right now, so this is a refreshing listen. Get it via the soundclick widget below!

Passport: Marie Digby Releases the “Your Love” Album in the Philippines

Marie Digby has always had an avid interntional fan base so it shouldn’t have come as a surprise that she’s released an album in the Philippines called Your Love. There’s a few newer songs on there, like the title track and “I Do” which you can hear hear after the break. But there are also a number of songs on there from her previous releases, a move that I imagine is intended to introduce her newer fans to some of her older work. Digby will be announcing in the near future how you can get your hands on a copy stateside, so stay tuned!

It’s “Another Day” by Jae Jin x J. Han x C-Note

In this DMV collaboration, singer Jae Jin recruited the help of J. Han from AMP and C-Note to join him on a track called “Another Day”. There were a lot of hands in the pot for this one with additional help coming from Fort Lee Music and Sky Muzik on the production end, among others. It’s a pretty decent track that touches upon faith and struggles – a fair way to start your Tuesday off on a contemplative note. Enjoy it? It’s a free DL via Bandcamp.

Hear the Album Version of Jesse Barrera’s “Anything to Make This Last”

We are officially only a few days away from the release of Jesse Barrera’s EP – You’ll Feel Alive. JB is keeping interest high by steadily leaking the album versions of the tracks on Youtube with the latest being his song “Anything to Make This Last”. You should know what to expect from Jesse by now; a good balance of Pop and Rock wrapped in a catchy package – this song continues that streak.

Just ‘Cause: The North Korean Party Rock Anthem

Just ‘Cause time! Saw this over at KoreAm the other day. It’s equally ridiculous as it is entertaining with a pinch of creepiness. Some Youtube user decided to splice in footage from North Korean video clips to the Summer 2011 staple, “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO. It’s really kind of surreal to watch… don’t you think?

Lil Crazed Features For DJ Sin’s “Hometown” MV

The Crazed KiD has paired up with another Minnesota native, DJ Sin, and features on a joint called “Hometown”. The song isn’t brand new though the video dropped today. It’s a shame it took so long since by now that sample has been done to death, giving the song an unjustified “me too” feel. I imagine those from that area of the country will appreciate the song a lot more than the rest of us but it’s a fair listen regardless.
