Music does’t necessarily have to be lyrical… not by any means. And I’m not referring to instrumentals, I’m still talking about songs with vocals but that often make use of sounds that aren’t exactly part of any language, lexicon or vocabulary. That’s why the genius that is Jane Lui and her team have come up with this incredible mash-up of hits from the past 50ish years of songs that do just that – 26 in total. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m an unabashed Jane fan, and its videos like these that are the exact reasons why.

Find Out Why Tommy C is “Miserable”
Singer and 1/3 of IBU, Tommy C, has released a new single called “Miserable” off his upcoming mixtape simply entitled C. The following is the typography lyrics video to the Pop/Rock/R&B song. This blended genre actually fits Tommy’s voice really well and he’s done a pretty fair job on the track. But it looks like C won’t drop until 2012 but for now you can DL this song here for free.

In the video and song, a number of “ethical quandaries” are presented, with an explanation of the more proper alternative. “Choiception” has just come up with a creative way to promote the upcoming release of his next album. The following video has three friends pondering on how Choi’s music found it’s inspiration and inception. It’s a silly watch but an effective comedic short that cleverly sneaks in a promotional angle. Spoiler alert: It was Pepper.
