Andrew Huang Features on Gunnarolla’s “Get Some Food”

This isn’t the first time Andrew Huang has been involved with a song about food nor is it the first time he’s linked up with Gunnarolla, and I sincerely doubt it’ll be the last for either case. Check out this trivial but completely relate-able single about being hungry. The munchies have never sounded so beautiful before. Sure it’s silly but if you were so inclined to pick up this single – just head on over to iTunes.

See the MV for “You Make Me Alive” by The Slants

What do you get when you mix a bunch of Asian dudes, dance-rock, karaoke, and a little bit of cosplay? Don’t know what comes to your mind but the answer is the music video to “You Make Me Alive” by The Slants, their latest single off their Pageantry album. Sure the teaser dropped over a month ago but you can watch the final cut now. Production values are middling but I can appreciate their effort to mix things up a little bit and not provide us with the same, boring, old visuals.

New Song – “Find a Way” by Vox Merger

Duo Vox Merger have jumped on a production by Mad Maestro and are joined by Keisha Cotton on the hook for a new joint called “Find a Way”. This is one of those cuts you can just bump and nod ya head to. The fellas from Vox have been a bit quiet on the music front as of late but it’s good to hear from Akim & company again. Check out the YT audio clip below to take a listen.

New ‘Juggernaut’ EP From Adam Warrock

Whoa, here’s yet another free EP from rapper Adam Warrock. It’s called Juggernaut and is a 7 track release full of cuts he’s recorded from the past week. So these are certainly as fresh as they come short of a live stream. His colleague, Beefy, makes a return appearance on the EP too. You can DL the album for free here and be sure to check out the additional liner notes either after the break or on his website.

Jessi Malay Unleashes “Role Play”

Here it is. The new single & accompanying music video by Jessi Malay – “Role Play“. This track once again features Prophet w/ the guest raps. The single is generally catchy though I don’t think it’ll evoke a reaction too far in either direction. As for the video, production values are great and if the intent was to showcase Jessi’s non-vocal assets as well then they have succeeded. I imagine most of our male audience won’t complain too much about the gratuitous eye candy.

You can DL the single for free from her website and catch the MV after the break.

The Rap Remix Round-Up – 11/30/11

Nah, this ain’t a Youtube round-up, as a number of the tracks you’re about to hear were delivered through various mediums but not limited to the Tube. So instead we have just a collection of tracks that have dropped in the recent – all Rap/Hip-Hop remixes of songs both old and new across various genres. So here they are in no particular order:

  • Misfit – “So Crooked” (a remix of “Bonfire” by Childish Gambino)

Clara C Talks Education, Her Fans, and Future Music with AllKPop

If you’re a Clara C fan you should check out this interview she recently had with AllKPop. The pace is fairly quick and the topics are varied so it’s a good general viewing. It was filmed towards the end of her US tour that wrapped up this past Fall. It’s cool to see her show love to her K-Pop oriented fans as well since they’ve been hugely supportive too.

Illmind Produces for 50 Cent on “Stop Cryin”

As much as we love bumpin Illmind‘s beats, he does far too much work for us to cover all of his production but his latest placement is pretty big as his aural craft is the backing to 50 Cent’s new single, the leaked “Stop Cryin” off his upcoming free mixtape The Big 10. The mixtape is due later this week and whether you’re a Fiddy fan or not, you can’t deny that this is a good look for the veteran beatsmith. Take a listen below.
