Towards the end of the baseball season, the band Rooftop Pursuithad the opportunity to perform before the Mets game against the Braves at Citi Field. Here’s a snapshot we found of part of the band from the sound check before they got to sing to an entire stadium of people. Perhaps one day, they’ll be the headliners for a crowd of that magnitude - let’s hope so because they certainly are talented enough. There’s some footage on Youtube of them performing but nothing with a great view. If you’re really interested, I’m sure you’re savvy enough to find it =).

For those of you with MYX TV, it will premier tonight at 8PM and is scheduled to continue to air on Tuesdays at that time. It’s being billed as:
From the internet to the television screen, MYX TV presents the next generation of Asian-American laugh out-loud comedy with “The Timothy Dela Ghetto Show.” A half-hour show of unconventional skits, one–off sketches, originalsongs and music videos, and stand up comedy from the mind of Timothy Dela Ghetto. I guess it’s going to be similar to the short lived but critically acclaimed Dave Chapelle Show. We’d like to extend a HUGE congrats to Traphik on this big move! Find out more about the show here.
“Six More Roses” By Raden

Raden’s been real active lately and “Six More Roses” is the latest drop from the R&B singer. The song is executed in his trademark style but I’m not sure it came together quite as well as some of his other work. Something about it felt lacking and a bit off, but maybe that’s the result of me listening in an exhausted state of mind. Feel free to tell me I’m wrong! You can DL it for free here.
Take a Listen to “The Harvest” by The Forrest Filosophy (Connie Lim)
As part of the promotional strategy for an upcoming show at Hotel Cafe, The Forrest Filosophy aka Connie Lim has posted up another original for you to check out. This one is titled “The Harvest”, and let me say right off the bat I’m really digging this one. Everything from the keyboard sounds to the quirky and curious melody and lyrics left me intrigued – I’d love to hear a studio version of this. If you’re in the LA, you should consider checking her out live on the 19th. I would, but I’m 2,620 miles away… so it’d be a little bit of a commute.
Decipher Releases the MV for “Angry Asian Man” ft Manifest & DJ Zo
Here it is folks. The highly anticipated music video for “Angry Asian Man” off Decipher‘s album The Effect. The music video has the highest production values of any of his releases thus far. The song features Mani & Zo in arguably one of the best collabs of the year. You can DL the song for free from his bandcamp as well. Glad this track was selected to be pushed as an official single. Lyrics are available after the break!
Jin Akanishi Releases Debut US Single – “Test Drive” Featuring Jason Derulo

A couple weeks back when we reported that Japan’s Jin Akanishi, formerly of KAT-TUN, was going to release a single in the states, it quickly became one of our most popular posts of all time. Well the day has come and the song has officially dropped in the form of a single album with four different mixes, all featuring hit R&B artist Jason Derulo. The high energy single is available via the standard digital distributors, but stay tuned because he’s supposed to release a music video later – we’ll be sure to post that up once it’s available too.
[Update]
And now here’s the MV! Enjoy.
