We’re not a K-Pop blog, but when we see one of our artists make headway in any music industry, whether it be domestically or abroad, we can’t help but be excited. So you’ll have to excuse us if we sound overly enthusiastic to announce that New Jersey’s own Ailee is finally about to release her debut single since getting signed in Korea and dropping jaws with her talent last fall. The song is called Heaven, and below you will find the MV teaser. It’s set to drop February 9th, and although it’s only a 30 second clip, we’re more than optimistic about this release.
I call this the In-Studio Covers Round-Up because I had one criteria as the unifying theme. If I saw a mic in the video, I classified it as in-studio and threw it in this batch. Simple enough right? Nevermind if it was actually used for the recording, or if it’s just a prop, or whatever else. A few new faces sprinkled with some Youtube cover artist veterans. 10 videos in total. Have fun!

Wow. FM continues to make moves. The quartet sits down with Lee Hawkins of the Wall Street Journal for an in-depth 16+ minute interview where they really break down who they are, where they came from, and where they are going. There’s a lot of great insight into the group and their Modus Operandi along with how they operate as both artists and businessmen.

Dance-Pop artist Viennie V just dropped a new MV for “(Gonna Party) All Night Long” that was filmed in Newport Beach, California. For those just getting acquainted with the relatively new artist, she dropped a full length album last fall along with a new single in December. Prod values are generally pretty sharp for the video, although you’re going to have to decide for yourself if this particular brand of dance-glam-pop is for you.
Here’s another theme focused EP from the eclectic mind of Adam WarRock. This 5 track collection is all about Mass Effect 3, the upcoming video game and third installment in the very successful sci-fi series. In fact, he’s been given the co-sign from VG site, Destructoid, where you can DL it for free.
In other AR related news, he’s also opened up pre-orders for his upcoming album, You Dare Call That Thing Human?!? . The 15 track release can be purchased early via bandcamp, and includes his single “616” from earlier this year. WarRock fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks.
ALL PRE-ORDERS WILL SHIP PRIOR TO ALBUM RELEASE DATE, FEB. 13, 2012. All other album orders will ship beginning March 1, 2012, due to West Coast Tour!
Virginia based band, Rooftop Pursuit, will be releasing a music video for their new single “All I Need” on Valentines day in just over a week. The vid was handled by Descendant Films, who have done work for Clara, Decipher, and Jason Min, among others, in the past. This will be the band’s second official music video – can’t wait to see it in full.
