“Bow Down” MV Featuring D-Pryde Released by Boogz Boogetz

In December, we shared “Bow Down”, a Boogz Boogetz joint that Prizzy jumped on for Boogz’ mixtape, Flyer Learning. Today, we have the official music video for the collaboration – complete with some footage from 80′s martial arts flick, Bloodsport. I still remain a bit indifferent to the song, didn’t particularly move me in either direction.

Drunken Fists Release “Be Your Man”

This track slipped through the cracks among many other Valentine’s Day releases, but the Drunken Fists collective have dropped a song for the ladies – “Be Your Man”. The fellas try their hand at some Rap of the smoother persuasion, so I guess the only question is, ladies, how did they do? If you hear something you like, add it to your playlist by downloading the song here.

BoA x Arden Cho

It’s already been a few years since BoA‘s non-start in the US music industry. And while she carries the crown as one of the biggest names in contemporary Asian Pop music, she failed to make the desired impact in the Western Market. That being said, we’re glad to see her keeping good company, with this picture tweeted a few months back by her friend Arden Cho. This isn’t a fan-pic, it’s one of friendship – and we can only wish both Arden and BoA many more of both, fans and friends, as the years pass.

Say Cheese!

The Boombox Saints Release “The Break Up Song” MV

Although we’ve just learned about Canada’s Boombox Saints a little more recently, they managed to garner enough interest from both us and you, the readers, in our ‘The Freshman‘ feature. The feedback wasn’t overwhelming, but their classic style of Hip-Hop gave them just enough edge to earn a post in our music news rotation. So with that, we bring you the music video for their latest single – “The Break Up Song” featuring Jill Laxamana. The song is off their EP from last year, Bringin the Boom Back. It was cool that they chose a non-typical route for the video – def something more interesting than your average Hip-Hop visual.
