Andrew Huang Releases Stop Motion Video for “TAPE / BRAZIL”

Rarely to be the one to go the conventional route, Andrew Huang presents the latest video for a single off his Schism project from last November, “Tape/Brazil”. This one is done in the style of stop motion animation, utilizing props and some visual effects to create something strange and unique. But at this point, would you expect anything less from Mr Huang?

eyes on jesus
live a righteous life and leave god to pick up the pieces
hey, freestyle thesis
this world needs healing
look what you’re dealing with
i’m reeling
flash the lavender poem past the nationalities gone home
patriots unite to fight
can’t hear the beat right
march with your feet like the camera’s rolling
i’m holding back
now the whole thing collapses, smouldering
vacuous action
i’m trapped in this passion to leave the kids off the faction
your god and your military sanction a blessing
abandoned, messing with the borders crossed
lost orders
the walls just drop and it cost you a quarter
turn a deaf ear
wondering how we get here
so what do you do with gray bodies and white grass
and books that might pass for light shafts
nothing in the hopes
nothing in the hopes and fears
nothing in the hopes
nothing in the hopes and fears
nothing in the hopes
nothing in the throats of dear leaders open to cheer
now who’s that man?
you know we’re out of hope
you know we’re out of daughters
daughters and bread
oh, you know we’re out of hope
you know we’re out of our sons
our sons who’ve bled
what what what what
