There is certainly no dearth of reality TV/Talent competitions out there, but we’re inclined to pay attention to this new one on the CW called The Next – set to debut on August 16th. Nelly, Joe Jonas, Gloria Estefan and John Rich will act as the artist mentors among the many hopefuls looking for a chance to shine on a bigger stage. Think The Voice mixed with American Idol and Making the Band. Baiyu will be taken under the wing of Nelly, and we certainly hope she goes far into the competition. She certainly deserves it!
