J.Reyez Releases “I Do This All Day” Official Video

This music video was pretty decent thought a bit different from “Little Miss Innocent” (both music videos were produced by Tom Antos).  Whenever I watch J.Reyez’s covers or MV’s, people always tell him to change-up his style thought I’m not quite sure why people do that.  J.Reyez did change it up around 2:56 of the music video, where he speeds up his rap.  The beat to the song was pretty good as well.  Hopefully we see more from J.Reyez, he has worked hard.  If you like the song, you have two options.  Support him by buying it off iTunes or download it for free here!

Joseph Vincent & Richard Marx Covers “Dance With My Father” by Luther Vandross

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard this song by Luther Vandross, “Dance With My Father.”  It’s one of those songs that’s really sad but joyful song.  I say that because it’s talking about his memories with his father but at the same time it’s really sad since the father has passed away.  Joseph Vincent did a wonderful job but I feel like he could have sang a bit louder.  Maybe he kept his voice at that tone to keep the melody.  Richard Marx did a great job directing and playing the piano, it seems that Richard has been poppin’ up lately in this YouTube society.  As I was saying about Joseph, his vocals were great as usual.  I feel like the video was a bit dull since they were at only one location but all out, great video.

Tom-Oh & Traphik Release “We Takin Off”

Tom-Oh & Traphik aka TimothyDeLaGhetto are on a song together.  After doing some research, Donovan is a rapper that’s from ASU.  Tom-Oh is the DJ for Donovan. After hearing the beginning of the song, I was hesitant to listen to this song but after a minute into the song, it was fairly decent. Traphik’s verses were okay but he should have done better. Donovan’s lyrics were okay as well, this song just sounds like any other rap song. Talking about how their good at what they do. The beat to the song is pretty nice, if they worked a bit harder, I can see the song reaching a million views but who knows with Traphik’s fan base, it could be possible. Jason Chen & Megan Nicole Cover “Forget You” by Cee Lo Green

This is a wonderful cover by Jason Chen and Megan Nicole. Everyone has been covering this song lately but I like this one the best. The smooth transition between them two was done really well. I liked how Megan looked into the camera but as for Jason, he didn’t look much. Artists have their own way of singing but I think if Jason looked into the camera, the video would have more emotion and effect. Another thing I would have liked is if they sang louder on this cover but all around, it’s great. If you like this cover, it’s available on iTunes.

Jenny Suk Covers “Sooner Than Later”

One of the better video’s I’ve seen by Jenny Suk.  She only uses two places for scenery but their great.  The view of the city is marvelous and the street view is nice.  It really fits the tone of the song.  Jenny is showing emotion but I felt like she could have done more.  Her vocals very soothing to hear and enjoyable to listen too.  Hopefully she continues to come out with more videos because last time, it was way too long when she released a video.  If you liked the cover, here’s the Free DL.

JRA Releases a New Original “Save This”

This is a great original by JR Aquino, its something I would listen too.  When I listen to this song, I always imagine it being a rainy day and you’re feeling blue about your relationship which is the song about. JR said this song means that, only one person is putting effort into the relationship and it’s a cry out for help to save the relationship.  It’s a very soothing song but a bit sad as well, I’m sure JRA has definitely hit the hearts of some relationships.

Dumbfoundead Spits Another “Blue” (Prod. by Soulspeak)

Even though the beat is simple, barely any bass, and only 1 minute long.  Dumbfoundead goes off on how he loves to do what he does.  Also I think this the beat fits Dumbfoundead’s voice well at least for this video.  There’s really not much to say but DFD makes it seem like the “rap game” is simple cause his verses are smooth.  It’s not simple as you think though, you hear DFD saying that road was a lonely one and it was a struggle to get where he is now.  At the end of the video, he says his Album is coming out soon, I can’t wait to see whats in store.

Clara C & Friends Cover “Don’t You Wanna Stay”

Clara C and her friends Jake Bruene, Kurt Schneider, and Kevin Olusola cover “Don’t You Wanna Stay” originally by Jason Aldean ft. Kelly Clarkson.  I’d have to say this a great cover, Clara C did wonderfully on the chorus as well as the verses.  Jake Bruene who started off in video did great, Clara’s and his voiced matched for this song.  Did you guys recognize the piano cause I did, Kurt did really well and not only was he in the video, the video editing was Kurt’s type of way.  I’m not an expert on violin’s but from what Kevin played was beautiful to listen too.  Enough about them though, if you want to hear Clara live in person then she has 2 shows coming up!  One show will be at Q Cafe and The Loft.

Jennifer Chung Sings an Original ” Mystery”

Lately, Jennifer has come out with originals and covers.  Maybe these are hints that she’s going to come out with more music this summer but not totally sure yet so stay tuned to find out.  This video is just her in her room and playing the guitar herself.  She sings her original nicely and very gracefully.  Her singing is very unique from other which I like very much.  Hopefully she comes out with more music in the summer since she can’t, busy with school and all.

D-Pryde says his “Life Is Great” (Original)

Guess who came out with another original, D-Pryde of course.  Ever since he was signed to Mars Music Group, he has worked hard on getting out music.  This video was really laid back, compared to his other videos.  We know D-Pryde can get lyrical but he didn’t spit any “hot” bars, I still enjoyed the video.  One thing I liked about this video is that he used his real friends and family, he didn’t use random people.  This song is something you would listen to if you were just chillin’ in the car driving or obviously, at your house hanging out with friends and family.  Let’s see if his next video will be more serious than laid back.  If you like this song, get it for free here.
