The new project from acoustic band, Andy Suzuki & The Method – The Ghost Stories EP, has finally hit the (digital) streets and is available for purchase. iTunes users get the jump on this one, with it being available there immediately with a February 7th release date to follow for Amazon music lovers. Once upon a time, we were two solo artists: Michael Alvarado and Carissa Rae. All it took was one year’s time to meet, fall in love, write some songs, and film a few YouTube videos. 2 million views and an engagement ring later, we have officially come together as one musical duo, entitled “Us”.

It would appear that Paul Kim has an international debut in the works, with an upcoming single due out in Korea on February 8th – “My Love (내 삶의 정답)”. The clip above is the trailer for the music video and marks his first official release in the land immediately south of the 38th parallel. International fans, be on the lookout for this one!

With the second season of The Voice getting ready to premiere on Superbowl Sunday, NBC has decided to release a webseries with 1st season runner-up (but arguably the bigger winner), Dia Frampton. It’s more like a well produced VLOG/extended Entertainment Tonight type of series (with some product placement to boot), but it allows you to catch up with the rising singer and see what she’s been up to since her famous run on the TV show. The first episode debuted today in conjunction with Huffington Post. Stay tuned til the end for a new performance of her single ‘The Broken Ones’.

There’s a new David Choi interview out by OC Weekly, where they go into topics like his Youtube status, writing emotional music, family and more. It’s actually a rather brief read, so if you have even the mildest of interests in the singer/song writer, then be sure to check it out in full. With three albums and several nationwide tours under his belt, it’s kind of awe-inspiring to reflect on what the singer has accomplished – and it all started with the posting of covers from his bedroom webcam.

Southern California Hip-Hop artist XL Middleton has dropped an album in Japan earlier this month, entitled Bright Lights Palm Trees. The album includes his recent single, “Low Key High Note” along with 13 other tracks to give you a fairly healthy chunk of new music. If you want the album but aren’t located in Japan, then sit tight until March, where it will be released in the domestic market as The Hedonistic Album.
