January 7th has arrived, and that means Tommy C‘s new mixtape, C, has finally dropped. As we learned from the album preview a few days back, the project is assisted by guest features from J. Reyez, Jargon, Lil Crazed, Maribelle Anes and more. In fact, there’s a new lyric video out for the track with Maribelle, “Snowflake”. With the release date just a few days away, Tommy C is drumming up buzz for his C Mixtape by releasing an album preview on Youtube. You can check out all 16 tracks via the snippets in the video below. It looks like “Flawless” ft Lil Crazed, “My Reason” with J. Reyez & Jargon and “Miserable” all made the tracklist. It’s a new visual from Tommy C to promote the yet to be released C Mixtape. The track is “Flawless” and features frequent collaboration, Lil Crazed on the guest rap vocals. It’s another decent R&B tune from the pair, making a fair case for the two to consider forming a project group together. Either way, the song will be available along with the rest of the mixtape come January, which is the reported drop date.
Collabs have always been one of the aspects to benefit the most from the expansion of music technology and community. In this particular song, Tommy C features for Drama B on the track “Let the Rain Fall” that we previewed for you not too long ago. The song has been released in it’s entirety to promote Drama B’s Year2 mixtape, and to build anticipation for another collab on Tommy C’s upcoming C project. Check the lyrics video below.
Just so you don’t forget that the #CMixtape is on it’s way for a 2012 debut, Tommy C has dropped a preview clip of a song with Drama B called “Let the Rain Fall”. Did anyone order some Pop/R&B? Because that’s exactly what you’ree getting with this one – which is a good thing considering it plays to Tommy’s strengths. We’ll let you know when the final version drops!
For the next single promotion off his #CMixtape, Tommy C linked up with his pals J. Reyez and Jargon to rhyme over his Pop/R&B track. The video production values are commendable and the trio make a pretty decent team but did anyone kind of feel like Tommy was shouting the chorus? It seems like IBU’s Tommy C is continuing to make a name for himself, setting up a path to solo success when aside from his group activities. “So Sorry” is the latest from the Chicago R&B artist, another drop from his upcoming C mixtape supposedly due in 2012. The following MV has some above average production values for the otherwise mildly catchy song. I think most R&B/Pop fans will enjoy this one.

This blended genre actually fits Tommy’s voice really well and he’s done a pretty fair job on the track. But it looks like C won’t drop until 2012 but for now you can DL this song here for free.
