DJ Neil Armstrong Q&A w/ RUNFFM

DJ Neil Armstrong sure gets them stamps on his passport. He has a new, extensive interview with RUNFFM, held while he was out in Germany. Clocking in at over 15 minutes, its certainly longer than your average Youtube clip but for those of you interested in Neil or DJ’ing as a whole – this is a recommend watch. The main reason is because Armstrong is a well spoken artist and sheds a lot of insight on his own career and the industry as a whole. But I can’t pretend there aren’t a few moments where our ADD generation may start to tune out.

DJ Neil Armstrong Interviews w/ Mixcrate

Peep the new interview that Mixcrate has out with the famous DJ Neil Armstrong. He gives a lot of experienced advice for Disc Jockeys on the come up. It’s a lot of practical pointers on how to stay on point while on your grind and understanding that it’s an uphill battle all the way. The guy seems very level headed despite all the acclaim and I can respect that!

DJ Neil Armstrong Interview w/ MADE

DJ Neil Armstrong sat down with MADE for their “Visions of Visionaries” feature. They discuss in depth how he found his way into the music game among other things and of course what it was like working with Jay-Z. His story is pretty inspiring, especially to folks like me who juggle a corporate gig while doing what we love during “non business” hours.

For our latest “Visions of Visionaries” we got together with acclaimed dj Neil Armstrong to talk about his passion for music, how it all got started, his work with Jay-Z and much more.

It’s always surprising to see for us from which background some artists actually come from. I mean who would have thought that once a chemical engineer will be spinning Hip Hop tunes for the inauguration of the first black President of the United States?!

Stop dreaming. It’s real:

Check out the description below.

This project is my personal way of putting a distinctive bookmark in this chapter in my life, and a way to pass a sincere thank you to Jay-Z, Mr. Sean Carter, for all of the memories, the opportunity to rock on stage as an artist with him around the world, and for the kindness to me as a person. You know I had to do it in my language; a thank you in music.

A sincere thank you and respect to Jay-Z and the Roc Boys.

Take a listen, spread the word, and enjoy the music!
Peace,
DJ Neil Armstrong aka the All Out King

DJ Neil Armstrong Interview w/ Ig’nant Witted

Blogger/writer Ig’nant Witted had the opportunity to chat with the legendary DJ Neil Armstrong of 5th Platoon (and DJ for Jay-Z). It’s a dope interview and DJ Neil Armstrong breaks off a little bit of Hip-Hop history, shares some fun (gross) tour stories, talks about his style and his respect for some DJ’s that are no longer with us. It’s a real thorough interview and worth every minute (It clocks in at 20 min total).

Note: I found it kind of humorous that they played renegade in the background while interviewing Jay-Z’s DJ haha.
