Dru B Shinin Collabs with Anetix, Clay West and Kidd Star on “Get Wealthy”

Dru B Shinin‘ has a large collab track out featuring Anetix, Clay West and Kidd Star. The joint is titled “Get Wealthy” and is a prime example of the independent, underground grind. Production values are rough and unpolished, the video has an entirely too soft of a picture, and overall it can’t hold a candle to some of their contemporaries. That being said, some of the artists show some potential but they could all benefit from a stronger media team.

Dru B Shinin’ Drops the All American LP

Dru B Shinin‘ of the Lone Star State, has finally released his album, All American, complete with 14 tracks including the song “Come Back“. Interestingly enough, you can DL the entire album for free if you grab each song individually; but when packaged as a whole, it’ll run you 5 bucks. Those who are fond of physical media will find a Hard Copy option available to you as well.

Dru B Shinin’ Presents MV for “Come Back to Me”

We are currently scheduled to see the “All American” album from Texan Rapper Dru B Shinin‘ on March 25th. As a precursor, he’s released a music video for his song “Come Back to Me” off the project. It looks like Dru has stepped his game up on the video front, giving us his crispest looking visual to date. Hopefully things continue to only move up for the artist.

Dru B Shinin’ Promotes the “Goodbye” MV & The AA Mixtape

Dru B Shinin‘s latest project, The AA Mixtape, serves as a forward for his upcoming album, All American. He’s keeping the promotional wheels rolling with the release of the “Goodbye” music video from said mixtape. The song is just one of fifteen tracks that can be found on the collection, and they are all available for free via the bandcamp widget below. Let us know what you think about one of the first of our Freshman graduates.

Dru B Shinin’ Unveils the “American Way”

Texan rapper Dru B Shinin‘ has a new video out for his latest promotional single – “American Way”. It appears that the release of the track is a precursor to two upcoming projects – The AA Mixtape and All American. I can appreciate when an MC gets topical so it should be intriguing to see how these concept releases pan out. “American Way” is currently available as a free DL via Bandcamp, check the widget below.

Dru B Shinin’ Presents “Her Song” MV

It’s been a couple months since Dru B Shinin’ dropped his last project, The Clean Up, but he’s pushing a new single from the release – “Her Song”. Here is the MV for the female-friendly track that caters to the demographic by giving them something chill and easy to listen to. The song itself is stronger than the video, which suffers from some mundane production values though I can definitely understand the concept behind it.

[Album Release] Dru B Shinin’ – The CleanUp [Free DL]

Does the name Dru B Shinin’ sound familiar? Maybe it’s cause he’s one of the graduates from our feature section “The Freshmen”. The people have spoken and he’s made it into our news coverage. The Hip-Hop artist kicks it off with the release of his latest album The CleanUp. It’s a slightly shorter release than many albums, measuring just 8 tracks long but it’s a good opportunity to see if his music can match his growing buzz. You can stream it in full or go ahead and DL it for your own playlist as it’s a completely free DL. Check the bandcamp widget.

The Freshmen: Dru B Shinin’ – The Admission One MVs

We think we’re a little over due for a new Freshmen feature, where we spotlight artists who haven’t quite developed a following yet, and are still working on establishing themselves. Remember it’s important that you, the readers, vote either thumbs up or thumbs down on these posts because this will help us decide which of these artists can graduate from The Freshmen and be a part of the regular rotation of a-Tunes Music News.

Dru B Shinin’ is a Hip-Hop artist representing the lone star state of Texas. Although he’s released a couple of projects to date, they’ve mostly remained under the radar and out of the greater public eye. He is aiming to change that with the protion of his The Admission One EP - released last year. What makes his promotional efforts unique is that he’s opted to release an 8 part music video, one of each track on the EP. That’s a lot of time, effort, and material so the question is; did the gamble pay off? The MV’s themselves tend to be fairly simple, straight forward and nothing fancy. As for the songs themselves, he has a chill laid back vibe that I think many could enjoy. But nevermind my assumptions… what say you?

Don’t forget you have the power! Vote thumbs up if you want us to continue sharing more material from Dru B Shinin’, thumbs down if you’ve seen enough. You can watch the other 7 MV’s and vote after the break.
