Drunken Fists Release “Be Your Man”

This track slipped through the cracks among many other Valentine’s Day releases, but the Drunken Fists collective have dropped a song for the ladies – “Be Your Man”. The fellas try their hand at some Rap of the smoother persuasion, so I guess the only question is, ladies, how did they do? Drunken Fists Returns with “M.O.P.E.D (Mind On Paper Everyday)” ft Set2

We haven’t seen or heard from Canada’s Drunken Fists collective in quite some time, but the crew has made a comeback with a new song – “”M.O.P.E.D (Mind On Paper Everyday)”, featuring Set2 and production by KeenoTherapy. Those who like that late 90′s/early 2000′s underground type of sound may appreciate this track, if so you can grab it as a free DL here.

Drunken Fists Previews Material from Upcoming Album – “Catch the Buzz”

I don’t believe we’ve heard from the Drunken Fists collective in some time. Well it looks like they’re gearing up to drop a new album soon and one of the singles is called “Catch the Buzz”. The track sounds pretty solid and it did enough to get me intrigued but I supposed we’ll have to find out if the rest of their new material is any good in due time when the album drops in it’s entirety.

J. Moy & Company Release the “On My Way” Remix MV

Towards the end of the summer J. Moy dropped a single called “On My Way” which was from his Once Upon a Time in China EP. Tonight he’s released the official music video, but it’s for the remix instead. The new version features a completely different beat and style and has Set 2 and Richie Sosa as guest MC’s. Video quality is clean but I wasn’t a fan of the MV style and imagery (though it is somewhat fitting for Halloween). I actually liked the original song much better and wished they re-did the MV for that version instead. Either way the track itself is a decent listen but I’ll pass on the video.

J. Moy x Kin Smuv Release “On My Way” MV

Last week we showed you a  new single by J. Moy aka Chinx called “On My Way” featuring Kin Smuv on the hook. Today we’re showing you the new MV that just dropped for that single. The DSLR quality is crisp, but the lighting effects are overdone and a bit cheesy. It’s a simple video that is decently done but is still a little on dull side. Funny thing is, a couple years back this would have been fairly impressive, but others have really stepped up their video game leaving this one middle of the pack. It’s still a dope track though.

Need more new music to start off 2010? Well Chinx of the Drunken Fists collective has dropped a new track called ‘Celebration’ featuring Ke’eno. The vibe of the song fits the title perfectly and has a real fun swing to it. Hope everyone had a great new years!

Drunken Fists Release ‘Big Bossin’ MV

The Canadian hiphop collective known as Drunken Fists have released a new music video for the song “Big Bossin’”. I just heard about this group recently so I’m not too familiar with their material but from the looks of this video, they are definitely a solid group. Looking forward to hearing more from them.

The track is from their mixtape “Open Bar – Drinks on Us”, available for free DL.
