A couple months back, singers Priscilla Ahn & Charlie Wadhams teamed up to form Sweet Hearts and released their self-titled EP. Since that time, they’ve already released a video for “Dear Sweetheart“, but are now adding another visual off the project for “I’m an Actor, Baby”. This one is more of a proper video, with some in-studio performance footage put together and set to their soothing brand of acoustic folk-pop.

Priscilla Ahn & Rachael Yamagata
If you’re an indie music fan, you may be familiar with a band called Ashtar Command. Well, fairly recently, they dropped a new album entitled American Sunshine and if you peruse the tracklist you’ll notice that two of our favorite artists make numerous guest appearances on the project – Priscilla Ahn & Rachael Yamagata. If you’re on Spotify (and honestly, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be) then you can check out the album in full. For those that want to snap them up for their music player of choice, you can find the links to the aforementioned tracks after the break.
Watch Priscilla Ahn’s MV for “Vibe So Hot”
I’m honestly not sure what to make of this release. It appears this video for “Vibe So Hot” may have been initially uploaded and given a very quiet soft-launch back in the Spring, but is finally being officially promoted more recently. The song is another single from her album When You Grow Up that dropped back in May. It’s one of the more upbeat in tempo tracks from the album, and like almost all things Priscilla Ahn, both song and video are charming and cute.

Did you ever experience any identity issues while growing up?
Yes, especially when I was really little. I remember looking at myself in the mirror and not understanding because my mom looked one way and my dad looked one way. And at school, like in kindergarten/first grade, kids didn’t really understand what I was. So, I thought that my parents had bought me from a store…
Priscilla Ahn Unveils Music Video For “When You Grow Up”
Priscilla Ahn reveals her newest music video for her song “When You Grow Up” – the title track from her latest album. The song reflects the all time question of when you’re a kid thinking about what you want to be when you grow up. It also features animated sequences that are play off the cutesy lyrics and Priscilla Ahn’s amazing haunting voice doesn’t hurt either. If you haven’t already, remember to grab your copy off the album here.
