Music Video Tuesday! Ok, that’s not a real thing, but that’s our theme of today’s round-up of Youtube video covers. Admittedly, the last video isn’t exactly a music video so much as it is a gigantic mash-up of footage. But when you’re dealing with 50 different artists and trying to work all those clips together, we figure it’s just as much work as any other MV production, so we’ve gone ahead and included it too. Rooftop Pursuit x Descendant Films Present the “All I Need” MV

And here’s another Love song for you folks on the 14th of February. As was promised, Rooftop Pursuit has shared their latest music video (shot by Descendant Films) for their latest single, “All I Need”. The DC band traveled to the Big Apple for the visuals and I gotta say, I never thought NY’s grimy subway could look so charming. And at first glance I was wondering how they got Yenny from the Wonder Girls to star in the video… but nah, it is indeed, a different attractive Asian blonde – M.C. Barao. Enjoy!

For our new single, “All I Need” I wanted to write about love at first sight or the act of falling in love at a glance. Many deem it impossible, while the hopeless romantics patiently wait for that one moment. Rooftop Pursuit Shares Preview of “All I Need” MV

Virginia based band, Rooftop Pursuit, will be releasing a music video for their new single “All I Need” on Valentines day in just over a week. The vid was handled by Descendant Films, who have done work for Clara, Decipher, and Jason Min, among others, in the past. This will be the band’s second official music video – can’t wait to see it in full.

It’s been nearly a month since our last Showdown, and since everyone and their mother seems to have taken a liking to Katy Perry’s “The One That Got Away”, we thought it’d be an opportune time to have our first match-up of the year. This one is a stacked battle card with seven contenders vying for your vote for best cover. There are several repeat Showdown artists here along with a few new faces voices. Snapshot: Rooftop Pursuit Sound Check @ Citi Field

Towards the end of the baseball season, the band Rooftop Pursuithad the opportunity to perform before the Mets game against the Braves at Citi Field. Here’s a snapshot we found of part of the band from the sound check before they got to sing to an entire stadium of people. Perhaps one day, they’ll be the headliners for a crowd of that magnitude - let’s hope so because they certainly are talented enough. There’s some footage on Youtube of them performing but nothing with a great view. If you’re really interested, I’m sure you’re savvy enough to find it =).

Rooftop Pursuit Offers Glimpse of New Single – “All I Need”

DMV area based band Rooftop Pursuit have posted up a small glimpse of their next single, “All I Need”. Though they’ve been on the quiet side lately, this message from their frontman Phil serves as reassurance that they’re still working hard on their music. “All I Need” will be given the official music video treatment soon too so stay tuned for that.

We saw the preview a couple weeks back, and the NY show is coming up in a month’s time at the end of September, so here is the final cover MV of Maroon 5′s “Moves Like Jagger” by all the contestants. A Teaser Clip for the Kollaboration NY 2011 MV

Ooh, I’m liking the looks of this. Entering their 6th show, Kollaboration NY is one of the more veteran cities to host one of the longest running platforms for our communities’ talents. So it’s no wonder why their upcoming MV for this year’s show looks to have the polish and production values to match! This year’s card of contestants looks to be quite stacked and I saw a few familiar faces in the teaser below (set to Maroon 5‘s “Moves Like Jagger“), including Rooftop Pursuit and Triangle Offense.
