We knew that Tasha and her husband Tiger JK aka Drunken Tiger were involved with The Creators Project, only to what extent? Well that has been answered as TCP has released their music video project with the pair for Tasha’s latest single “Get It In”. Production duties for the track were handled by none other than Illmind, their go to man for music in Sunzoo. In the video, Tasha and her husband JK face off in an epic battle to the death. Who comes out the victor? Just check it out for yourself to find out!

Tasha Named in MTV Iggy’s 12 Best New Female Emcees

Tasha aka Baby T aka Yoon Mirae aka the queen of Korean Hip-Hop, got a mention in Iggy’s list of ’12 Best New Female Emcees’. Sure, it’s an editorial piece but we thought it was worth mentioning considering she made the cut among some of the best international stars to rock the mic and two X chromosomes. I am more than inclined to agree. Check out the full article here.

#12 T YOON MIRAE

T Yoon Mirae, is recognized as the reigning queen of South Korean hip hop — and it’s not just because she’s married to its king, Tiger JK of Drunken Tiger fame. This American-born “Queen of Soul” is known for her vocal chops as well as her talent as a rapper. She sweeps the Korean Music Awards and murders microphones on the regular – but we really love her for her child abuse prevention work and multi-cultural youth activism.

Amerie, Tiger JK, Tasha To Collab on Each Other’s Albums

Amerie, the Half-Korean R&B recording artist recently told Billboard that she has a number of collaborations on her upcoming album Cymatika Vol 1., due in the Spring of 2012. Of particular note is the fact that she name dropped Korea’s Tiger JK (aka Drunken Tiger) and Tasha, both of whom she’s collaborated with in the past. It sounds like some cross-guest featuring is in order as she will also be appearing on a couple tracks of T’s album as well. International collabs? I can dig it. Check out the interview snippet after the break.

SUNZOO Releases 2nd Version of “Get Down” MV

SUNZOO must have thought that one MV wasn’t enough for their single “Get Down”. The first dropped a couple months back, directed by Rik Cordero. The new version goes in a completely different direction with a combination of live footage, green screen work, and kinetic typography. It’s a dope song with two pretty dope videos, I guess the only question is which one do you like more?

Drunken Tiger x Yoon Mirae Interviews w/ The Creators Project

Here’s a great interview of Drunken Tiger’s Tiger JK & his first lady Yoon Mirae aka Tasha. They talked with The Creators Project, a series that highlights how technology has affected the world. This is a fantastic crash course for those who aren’t really briefed on their history and how they eventually linked up with Illmind, Roscoe, and others to form SUNZOO. I’m loving the fact they were featured in this series!

The Creator’s Project network was created in an effort to promote different creative artists, culture, and technology. Modern technology has brought the world market closer together, and The Creator’s Project works to bring different artists closer to their international audience.

Smokey Robotic x Roscoe Umali x Styliztik Jones Drop the “Grace Under Fire” MV [Free DL]

Group Smokey Robotic (of whom Illmind is the producer for) has a new track out called “Grace Under Fire” featuring SUNZOO members Roscoe Umali and Styliztik Jones. I’m loving this track – everything about it is on point. The all B&W visuals was a nice touch too. If you’re liking the track too then you’re in luck cause it’s a free DL here. But the greatness doesn’t stop here, there’s an extended version in the works too featuring the remaining SUNZOO crew mates, Drunken Tiger & Tasha. I’m so stoked!

SUNZOO Drops the “Get Down” MV

It’s only been a week but they’ve done it again. New international super group SUNZOO have just dropped a new MV for the single “Get Down”. Directed by Rik Cordero, we got Illmind on the beat, Roscoe Umali, Tasha, and Tiger JK on the mic. I’m loving the old school bar/lounge motif too. These truly are a collection of veterans that haven’t lost a thing. I’m legit excited for every single release from them.

Tiger JK x T x Roscoe Umali x Illmind x Styliztik Jones form New Super Group – SUNZOO

Tiger JK, Tasha, Roscoe Umali, Styliztik Jones, and Illmind have been hinting at this project for MONTHS but it’s all finally come together. You are witnessing the formation of a new super group called SUNZOO featuring artists from two different countries, of various nationalities, all ripping it in the name of Hip-Hop. There are a few more names attached to the project, including old school Drunken Tiger DJ James Jhig and Rik Codero. They will be promoted via Korean broadcast TV. Check out the first two MV’s for the songs “On & On” and “My Time” respectively. This is an epic project, and I can’t wait to here more from them.
