If you were paying attention, you probably noticed the new web series we told you about by Wong Fu (in a partnership with AT&T). ‘Away We Happened’ stars Victor Kim and Jen FrmHeadToToe (along with a lot of product placement). Music is taken care of by David Choi & Paul Dateh. Remember, this is where you get to help decide the direction of the series. Check out the details, below!

David Choi x Paul Dateh x Victor Kim Work with Wong Fu on a New Series
OK, stay with me folks because there’s a lot of information to tell here. What do David Choi, Paul Dateh and Victor Kim have to do with Wong Fu? Well, the former two are helping score a new series by the video production outfit, and Victor is one of the main stars (along with Jen) of the story. What makes this particularly intriguing is the story isn’t written yet – at least not fully. Remember those choose your own adventure stories from when you were a kid? Well WF is taking that premise, and using audience participation to help dictate where the narrative will go. Oh, and this is sponsored by AT&T… so it’s kind of a big deal. The next 6 weeks are going to be jam packed for everyone involved, but I personally can’t wait to see how it all turns out!
“Away We Happened” is a new and unique web series where you help decide what happens! Wong Fu Productions (Wes, Ted, and Phil) has teamed up with AT&T and their friends Victor Kim and Jen FrmHeadToToe for this one of a kind project starting May 21st!

The Covers by Duets Youtube Round-Up 5/17/12
Two can play at that game? What game? I dunno, I just wanted to introduce the concept of two. Deuce. Double. 1+1. Snake Eyes. Duets. Because that’s what we’ve rounded-up for you today. This is all about about two musical artists covering songs both new and old and giving you two subjects to see and hear. This would have been more appropriate for a “Twos”day…. OK, sorry about that. Enjoy!

Just ‘Cause: See the Trailer to UPLOADED: The Asian American Movement
In July of last year, we shared with you a documentary that was in the works called Uploaded: The Asian American Movement. Now, all these months later, the film is complete and ready for it’s premiere at the Los Angeles Pan Asian Pacific Film Festival. You can now view the trailer, which gives us a look at all the interviews and the overlying focus of this film – a movement that is near and dear to our hearts at a-Tunes. Check out all the additional information after the break, and if you’re in LA, don’t miss the premiere on May 16th!
Why? Just ‘Cause.
The “I Won’t Give Up” Youtube Covers Round-Up Part 2 – 3/21/12
Back in January, we had a round-up of artists that all covered Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up”. We opted not to do a Showdown because all the artists were pitted against one another many times before, being previously featured in our head-to-head feature. In this collection of videos, it’s more of the same story as another familiar batch of singers decided to give their own spin to the song.
YTF Presents Visuals for “4 Your Kisses” and “Give You My Love”
Here are a couple visuals for songs off the YTF Christmas Album. First up is Victor & Chester and their song “4 Your Kisses”, followed by a home video montage set to JRA & Andrew Garcia’s “Give You My Love”. They are two very different songs in sound and tone but arguably as equally enjoyable. It should be intriguing to see what else the troupe has in store for us now that the Holiday season is coming to a close soon.
Showdown: New Heights vs Megan Lee vs Victor Kim x Andy Lange
Welcome to another episode of Showdown, where we have a little friendly comparison of artists that cover/remix the same songs and then vote for the one we think pulled it off better.
We were kind of surprised ourselves when we realized that we’ve never had a showdown for the song “Someone Like You” by Adele. A lot of artists have already covered the song, but we still had a few more to share so rather then bunching them up in a round-up – we decided to do a quick little Showdown feature. Some members of the band New Heights are going up against young Megan Lee and a tag team of Victor Kim and Andy Lange. Theres something to appreciate from all the covers but the question is; which one did you enjoy the most?
Victor Kim x Andy Lange
Did New Heights tug at your heart strings? Or maybe Megan Lee’s beyond-her-age vocals gave you goosebumps? How about the dynamic team of Victor & Andy? Put in your vote for your favorite so the winner can sleep just a little bit more soundly knowing they’ve won an informal competition that doesn’t really matter all that much. It’s all in good fun though!
YTF Sings “Ho Ho Ho”
YTF (kevjumba, nigahiga, Dtrix, Andrew Garcia, JRA, Victor Kim, Chester See) have uploaded a silly video to promote a silly song, “Ho Ho Ho”, off their recently released Christmas album. All the members of this musical/dance/comedy troupe are present and as goofy as ever. The song has gone through some transformations since we first heard it, but the premise is the same… don’t be a Ho.
YTF Releases the ‘YTF Christmas Album’

We’re going to have to request a late pass for this one. Earlier this month, multi-talented super group YTF (Ryan, Kev, Chester, Victor, D-Trix, JR and Andrew) released a self titled Christmas album together. The like minded crew of singers, dancers, comedians and more are grasping the opportunity to play off each other’s strengths and entertain their ever-growing audience. The release is a 5 song EP and is available from both Amazon & iTunes.

Victor King Sings About His Friends “Through Thick & Thin”
“Through Thick & Thin” is the music video for the lead single off of Victor King’s EP that was released yesterday. The visuals is a montage of footage from his various travels and experiences, detailing his appreciation for the friends he’s made along the way. Think of it as a track similar in tone to Bruno Mars’ “Count on Me”.
