Time for another Snapshot! Korean-American KPOP singer J has been singing for over a decade over in Korea, but that doesn’t mean she’s lost touch with some good old fashioned American cuisine. The talented singer has opened up her own restaurant in Korea called “J’s Burger” and her friends and fellow KA singers As One. As One & Manifest
NoVa’s Manifest may be over seas in Korea now, but that doesn’t mean he’s let off his grind one bit. He had the opportunity to meet the lovely and talented KPOP duo As One. They are some of the more veteran Korean Americans in the KPOP market, releasing music since the 90′s. Look how happy Mani looks posing with them! I can’t blame the guy, too be quite honest I’m kinda jealous. This picture was taken after his interview with the duo on their radio show. It’s awesome to see The Beautiful Cycle going international!

The Korean-American duo who has been a part of the KPOP landscape for a decade has come back with a new single entitled ‘Sonnet’ and it quickly rose to the top of many real-time charts. I’ve been a huge fan of these girl’s sweet voices since their debut and though they’ve somewhat faded from the spotlight I’m glad they can still make an impact and stay relevant. Congrats to them!
Coming back with a new single, veteran duo As One breaks out on top and is currently up #1 on various music charts.
According to their agency IK Entertainment, their new single ‘Sonnet’ is up #1 on various music real time charts like Soribada, Bugs, and etc.
In the midst of all the popular idol groups, this is incredible since the duo hasn’t been musically active since their release of the single last year. Their music video has also been garnering interests on various video portal sites like Youtube, MGoon etc. Congratulations As One!

To my knowledge there has been no other performance like this since. Never again has so many korean hip-hop artists from different labels and affiliations come together to perform live. This was during a time when Hip-Hop was still relatively young.
Also, it’s inteteresting to see how under appreciated the genre was. No one in the audience was having fun except for As One. Also Uhm Jung Hwa was kind of pointless but oh well, she did no harm.
