Watch Footage from Carissa Rae & Michael Alvarado’s Wedding; Hear New Unreleased Song

In case you missed the big news, Carissa Rae & Michael Alvarado of Us got married last week. The following video clip contains footage from their small intimate ceremony, which they will follow up with a bigger celebration next year. In addition to getting to witness the festivities, the soundtrack to the video is a new unreleased song, “I Will Wait For You”, off their upcoming album. Congrats again to them both on such a beautiful union.

Why have one wedding when you can have two?

Here’s Us, getting married in the court with our immediate families :) We chose April 26th because it’s the day we started dating last year! Part 2: The Big Wedding will be next year on the same date, and will include all of our extended family and friends.

Music: “I Will Wait For You” by Us. It’s unreleased and will be on our debut album, coming June 2012.

*Also, to clear up any questions, Bam Martin (from the Mos Wanted Crew on ABDC) is the brother of Carissa Rae Martin. Rae is Carissa’s Middle name, Martin being her last name…which has recently changed to Alvarado :)

Us (Carissa x Michael) Reveal the MV for “Never Gonna Leave You”

After releasing their debut single a couple weeks back (“Never Gonna Leave You“), Us is following up with the promotion of the official music video. The IRL couple showcases their goofy charm in this guerrilla style MV, shot on location at a grocery store with no formal set or extras. The video is a great example of how you don’t necessarily need the best production values to put together a decent visual – just a good idea and some fun.

US (Carissa Rae x Michael Alvarado) Release Debut Single – “Never Gonna Leave You”

The wife-&-husband-to-be team of Carissa Rae & Michael Alvarado, formally known as Us, have released their debut original single – “Never Gonna Leave You”. This song also serves as the first cut from their upcoming album. They duo went in a surprisingly upbeat direction, at least more so than I’ve accustomed to hearing from them. Carissa & Michael sound great together, as always, though Carissa’s vocal contributions were more of a secondary role this time around.

Carissa Rae & Michael Alvarado Form ‘Us’; Preparing Debut Album as a Duo

Ooh boy. Where to begin with this one? First of all, Carissa Rae and her partner in music and life, Michael Alvarado, got engaged last Thanksgiving. In addition, they’ve formed a new group together (a natural progression) called Us. So they made it official both personally and professionally, still with us? Now they are preparing to release their debut album as Us (them, not us) and are looking for your help in doing so via Kickstarter. OK, forget it, just watch the following clip and their description below for the details and be sure to help out the soon to be family with their many new chapters in life.

Once upon a time, we were two solo artists: Michael Alvarado and Carissa Rae. All it took was one year’s time to meet, fall in love, write some songs, and film a few YouTube videos. 2 million views and an engagement ring later, we have officially come together as one musical duo, entitled “Us”.

We are excited to make our first album as “Us” and we would absolutely LOVE your help! Every dollar will go towards the album: the musicians, the studio costs, the mixing, the mastering, the promotion…all of it. You alone, combined with other you alone’s, can take our notebook full of ideas and bring them to life in one beautiful album.

The singer/songwriter certainly seems to be making great strides, and I think a lot of you will really enjoy this one. In addition, she’s released the MV to promote the song with fitting visuals for the season. Joseph Vincent Presents the “Bumble Bee” Music Video (ft Carissa Rae)

After a slight delay, JV‘s new music video “Bumble Bee” has been unveiled and features Carissa Rae as the leading lady. It’s a cute song with a wholesome throwback pop type of vibe. It’s stylishly entertaining though not exactly cutting edge in terms of production values. Even still, casual and die-hard Joseph fans alike should dig this release.

My Own Show Epsiode 4 – Can’t Keep Running ft Nessa Rica, Carissa Rae & More

Scott Yoshimoto’s pet project My Own Show has really started to take off. Today is the debut of their 4th episode of the musical and features guest star Nessa Rica. The show has definitely come into it’s own, following a winning formula similar to Glee (in a way).
