Just ‘Cause: Choz Belen Releases MV for “Her World Goes On” By Justin Michael & Kemal
So the musical artist of this song isn’t Asian or Asian-American, but the director is and quite frankly the visuals here are too sick to not share with you all!
Choz Belen has done it again, bringing his trademark animation style to this music video for the electronic dance song “Her World Goes On” by DJ Justin Michael & Kemal. Simply put, you need to watch this. If you thought his prior work was impressive, the dude has stepped his game up again, crafting a crazy Pandora-like world, and video game-esque visuals. It doesn’t hurt that it’s paired with a catchy song but the visuals steal the show hands down. All you musical artists in need of a unique MV need to get at Choz!
Deep Foundation Interview w/ channelAPA
Here’s another interview from ChannelAPA’s East Coast tour. This time they talk with NY-based Deep Foundation, showing why their group name is truly applicable as their love Hip-Hop and their own ethnic Filipino heritage has really grounded them and runs deep in everything they do. They also mention what it was like to work with Choz Belen, Hydro, Bambu, and Legaci. Expect big things for the group!
Choz Belen Interview w/ Steve Nguyen
Visual Artist/Animator and MV director Choz Belen (who’s done work for FM & IZ, and Deep Foundation & Jay Legaspi) sat down and chatted with Steve Nguyen. So he’s not exactly a musician (not counting when he moonlights as a DJ), but he’s made such huge contributions to the scene we thought this was still required viewing. If you ever wondered who the man behind the (digital) paint brush this is your opportunity to hear him out! The dude is incredibly talented and we can’t wait to see what he does next.

Deep Foundation x Jay Legaspi Interview with MYX TV
Deep Foundation & Jay Legaspi collabed on a track a couple years back called ‘Sleep’, where Choz Belen created a signature music video for them. This is one of the reasons why the artists were featured on the Visual Crunch segment, highlighting their work and showcasing the video. As is the status quo for VC, it’s a short interview but great to see the gang all together at once and hear their thoughts behind the music.
FM x IZ x Choz Belen Release ‘I Party’ MV
Do you guys recall the sneak peak of Choz Belen‘s latest MV for the Far East Movement and IZ and their single ‘I Party’? Hopefully you do because all signs were indicating it was going to be a really sweet MV with awesome, stylized visuals and a fun story line.
Guess what? Choz did NOT disappoint. He stays true to his style and crafts a a great, unique, and artistically beautiful MV that really stands out from the pack and does the FM x IZ single justice. Check it our for yourself.

Choz Belen Releases Sneak Peak of FM x IZ’s “I Party” MV
You saw the trailer, but MV director Choz Belen has decided to leak another snippet from the upcoming release. The video looks pretty darn cool. I’m really looking forward to it dropping soon!

IZ Talks Briefly with AznRaps
Almost as a follow up to his last interview with them, IZ makes a few comments to AR regarding his single and video “Never Fall 2010″ as well as what’s coming up in the pipeline. If things hold up and he keeps the momentum going, it looks like it’s gonna be a big year for IZreal.

You may not be familiar with the name Choz Belen, but you should… because after seeing his work we believe this dude is gonna blow up.
The director of great music video’s such as Deep Foundation’s “Sleep” ft Jay Legaspi & the upcoming video for FM’s “I Party” ft IZ, Choz is definitely putting his unique stamp on the game. AznRaps has just released an indepth interview with him and it’s a definite recommended read.

FM x IZ x Choz Belen To Release MV For ‘I Party’ In Feb 2010
Choz Belen has an affinity for stylized illustrated visuals and he brings his touch to the new MV for FM. The song is their collaboration with IZ called ‘I Party’ from their Animal album. I’m definitely looking forward to the final version of this video. It definitely looks interesting if not unique at the very least.
Look for the video to drop February 2010.

Deep Foundation x Jay Legaspi release ‘Sleep’ MV
Deep Foundation, an Asian-American hip hop group has collaborated with crooner Jay Legaspi for what I consider to be one of the best song I’ve heard this year. The music video is also top notch, featuring the highly stylized work and direction of Choz Belen. It is definitely worth the watch/listen. I never heard of Deep Foundation before this but I’ll be sure to pay attention from now on.
