Lyricks x Manifest x Sickboi x JL & More Release The Supernova Collective Volume One Mixtape
Lyricks, Manifest, Sickboi, JL and a bunch of other MC’s (mostly) from the 703 (Northern Virginia) area have dropped a mixtape entitled The Supernova Collective Volume One. You can hear one of the singles (“Guillotine Music”) in the promo video below. “LAVA“, “Cube Runners“, “Myndgames 2.0” and the “Lemonade remix” are also included. Other artists include Petey-O, Dak, Josh Shepard, C-Note, K-Prime, Smaals, Koreone, along with west coast stables L. Scatterbrain, Lyraflip and Dumbfoundead. It’s a pretty packed line up and at 26 tracks, a lot of music. Enjoy!

Critic’s Corner: Manifest – Open Bars Mixtape
Back in February, Virginian MC Manifest dropped his 3rd mixtape entitled Open Bars. The title is less an allusion to alcohol but rather more towards his lyrical content and at 20 tracks deep it’s clear that Mani has a lot to say. His last release was about two years ago but he’s stayed active performing, touring, interviewing, and dropping singles here and there, often with his partner in rhyme Lyricks. Whenever an artist drops a mixtape of this length, it’s often a question of whether we are getting the quality to match the quantity. If you want to find out if Open Bars is worth it, read on!
JL Releases New Mixtape & MV Featuring L. Scatterbrain x Lyraflip x Lyricks x Manifest x Dumbfoundead
You’ve read about it here for months but the time has finally arrived. Guaranteed Raw, the debut mixtape for Virginia MC JL is now available. To mark the release real proper he’s also dropped an MV for one of the posse tracks entitled LAVA. You clever folk probably picked up that it stands for LA to VA… Los Angeles to Virginia. The video was directed by Lyricks and features a TON of footage. It’s straight hip-hop, no sugar coating… and it’s refreshing.
You can find the full tracklist after the break but make sure to pick up a copy and support some raw hip-hop. Besides those mentioned in LAVA, the mixtape features other talented artists such as Sickboi, Decipher and J-Smaals.
Mani x Lyricks x JL x DJ Zo Performance of ‘Cube Runners’ Released
The Beautiful Cycle crew went out to the West Coast last week for a couple of performances and Mani’s album release party. Footage from the festivities is starting to emerge and here’s a clip of Mani, Lyricks, JL, and DJ Zo performing their track ‘Cube Runners‘. These guys go non-stop. JL x Manifest x Lyricks Release ‘Cube Runners’ MV
The Beautiful Cycle team members JL, Manifest, and Lyricks teamed up to drop a new track and MV. The song is called ‘Cube Runners’ and its some pure, raw hip-hop. It may not be the prettiest video but thats cool cause it matches the griminess of the song perfectly. Stay tuned to a-Tunes because we have some more news on Manifest & Lyricks later today.
