David Choi Shares “This and That is Life” and Opens Pre-orders for ‘Forever and Ever’

David Choi‘s next album, Forever and Ever, has officially reached pre-order status as of today (we shared the album cover a few days back). To help commeroate the occasion, he’s shared a illustrated music video for the song “This and That Is Life” – a catchy pop tune with the visuals done courtesy of DK (The same guy who did the animated fan video for Dumbfoundead’s “Are We There Yet“). Hopefully this is an accurate indication of things to come. Lyrics are after the break!

Thank you guys so much for your continued support! I’m happy to announce pre-orders for my new album “Forever and Ever”!!! Make sure you grab your copy!

I also hope you enjoy this song that means a lot to me. Life can suck sometimes, but life can be good sometimes. Sometimes, it’s just plain weird. In the end, we’re just all trying to find happiness.

Jin “Disses” Youtube Stars

Jin must have been real bored. His latest video is a humorous “attack” at his fellow internet-era contemporaries. The 4 minute freeverse includes mentions of Joseph Vincent, JR Aquino, AJ Rafael, David Choi, Victor Kim, Kina Grannis, Erika David, Jayesslee, J. Reyez, D-Pryde, Dumbfoundead, Crazed, Traphik, Toestah and more. Only, before anyone jumps to conclusion, it’s all a roundabout way of acknowledging and recognizing his friends and colleagues for doing their thing in a new age of entertainment. It’s a backhanded diss, if you will.

It’s kind of wild to think that singer David Choi will soon be releasing his 3rd full length album. As one of the earlier youtube stars, he’s developed quite the fan base and continues to stay active with the impending release of Forever and Ever, due at the end of the month – October 25th. Above is the cover art for the LP, continuing his tradition of featuring unique illustrations in his artwork. The album will be available on his website as well as iTunes/Amazon in digital formats. Check out the Facebook event for more details.

Just ‘Cause: David Choi Presents “Choiception”

“Choiception” has just come up with a creative way to promote the upcoming release of his next album. The following video has three friends pondering on how Choi’s music found it’s inspiration and inception. It’s a silly watch but an effective comedic short that cleverly sneaks in a promotional angle. Spoiler alert: It was Pepper.

ISALA2K11

David Choi Presents a “Better You” MV

Whoa! It’s a surprise new music video from David Choi for his song “Better You” from his album By My Side. The video features some creative visuals and sets that match the light hearted up-beat feel of the song very well. It’s a quick watch but a welcome visual return for the veteran Youtube star. It may not be his most fancily produced effort yet, but it certainly gets the job done well.

David Choi Stars in MV for Chester See’s “Living the Good Life”

A couple years back, Chester See and David Choi collabed for a little collection of songs that they co-wrote together. “Living the Good Life” was one such creation and now the MV is seeing the light of day with DC featured prominently as the lead character. The song’s got a 90′s Pop-Rock vibe to it, and I can appreciate that since I grew up in that era. The video is decent though not particularly noteworthy otherwise. Like the song? “Living the Good Life” is available on iTunes & AmazonMP3.
