Here it is folks. The highly anticipated music video for “Angry Asian Man” off Decipher‘s album The Effect. The music video has the highest production values of any of his releases thus far. The song features Mani & Zo in arguably one of the best collabs of the year. You can DL the song for free from his bandcamp as well. Glad this track was selected to be pushed as an official single. Lyrics are available after the break!

Just ‘Cause: LX Keem’s Fan MV for Decipher x Ailee’s “Catch Me If You Can”
Dumb isn’t the only artist with creative fans that like to whip up their renditions of music videos. You may recall at the top of the year when we shared a little interlude video made by LX Keem set to Decipher & Ailee‘s “Catch Me If You Can“. Well now that De dropped The Sound Effect it’s become a lot easier to remix his last album and that’s precisely what LX did. He’s returned with a full-blown production including a newly completed remix along with a sick accompanying mash-up/machinima music video. Someone needs to book LX for their next audio & visuals.
Brian Joo to Feature IAMMEDIC, Johnnyphlo & Decipher on Tour

Brian Joo is halfway through his US mini-tour but what makes the last two show dates (in LA & NY respectively) particularly noteworthy is that he is linking up with some fellow local Asian-American talent at each stop. In the city of angels, he’ll be rocking the stage with Electro-Pop group IAMMEDIC and back on the east coast in the big apple, he’ll be joined by Decipher & Johnnyphlo. The rumor mill has been spinning that this is also likely Phlo’s last US show for some time so all the more reason for his fan’s to come through. You can find details on each individual show after the jump.
[Album Release] Decipher – The Sound Effect (The Effect Acapellas) [Free DL]

This release isn’t really geared towards the general audience but rapper Decipher has just put out The Sound Effect, the acapellas behind his well received album The Effect. You get all fourteen of the songs from the album, minus the instrumentals so all you DJ’s, producers, and mash up artists should jump on this release and share your creations with us! Maybe one of you can try to pair up these acapellas with the instrumentals from Illmind’s recent Behind the Curtain album. The Sound Effect is available as a free download via the bandcamp widget below!

[Music Video] Verseatile x Decipher – “You Can Bring It” (version 2)
Back in March, Verseatile dropped an MV for his song “You Can Bring It”, which unfortunately didn’t have guest MC Decipher in the video. V has rectified the omission by putting together a 2nd version, now including the Philly rapper. It’s the latest promo from his Worlds Apart EP, released earlier this year.
The concept behind this song is to encourage taking on challenges boldly. Decipher and I shed a little light on some of the challenges we had to overcome, which built us to be stronger for the next one. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.
[Music Video] Bart Kwan x IZ x Alyssa Marie x Decipher – “Villian”
Comedian Bart Kwan (of JK Films) decided to expand his horizons and try his hand at music. To get things started off on the right foot, he enlisted the help of IZ, Alyssa Marie & Decipher for a track called “Villian”. BTW, Alyssa def stole the show, largely attributed to the element of surprise. The girl can flow! Same time ya can’t sleep on De either – the dude always spits on point. How did Bart himself fare? Decently though his rhymes aren’t quite as polished as his features. It was a good look to get some vets on the track to balance things out. It’s a free DL via the bandcamp widget below!
