D-League’s Demo Releases “Ninja Money” Featuring J. Reyez & Thai [Free DL]
Ninja Money
Demo, the lighter half of the black and yellow duo D-League, has a new track out called “Ninja Money” that features two of the hardest working MC’s doin it right now, J. Reyez (third story on him today!) and 454′s Thai. It’s an anthem style track and features three distinctly different styles of artists from all over the continent, which makes for a varied listen. The production hit me as def above average though not a complete home run, but it did it’s job and gave the 3 MC’s room to breathe. The song is a free DL, get it here!
Jin Drops Tribute Song to Asian MC’s – ‘The A-List’
Jin, arguably the most well-known Asian-American MC, decided to drop a track in tribute of all the Asian MC’s he respects that are doing their thing right now. This song is in response to a list that was published by a blogger on their top 10 Greatest Asian MC’s list, where Jin made the cut at #1. It’s encouraging to see Jin give a nod to his fellow colleagues, or as his once famously said in a Freestyle battle “cause Game recognize game”. He spits over the instrumental to Drake’s “It’s Over”.

D-League x Oh Ginelle Release New Mixtape – Phone Sex
A couple days ago we posted up the new single from D-League featuring Oh Ginelle called ‘Plug it In’. It turns out the track is from their brand new mixtape released yesterday in conjunction with Oh Ginelle. The Florida based artists give a preview off many of the tracks on the mixtape.
It’s a free download from DatPiff and features a total of 17 tracks including a few skits. If you like this brand of hip-hop then support Demo and his group and grab it!
New Single Released By D-League: “Plug It In”
D-League‘s got a new track out entitled ‘Plug It In’ featuring a singer named Oh Ginelle on the hook. It actually dropped a few weeks back but I’m just playing catch up. I’m really the production on the this one. It’s got some hard hitting percussion and a great variety of sounds. It’s a pretty hype track. Ginelle was cool though a generic. Each MC really spit with a lot of energy on the track. This is prob the hardest hitting song I’ve heard from the group so far.
Not bad, not bad at all.
Demo (of D-League) Interview w/ Asiance Magazine
Demo (of D-League) was recently interviewed by Asiance Magazine. If you ever wondered who Demo is and how he got started with music along with the formation of D-League then you should definitely check out this article. To refresh your memory, Demo’s been making noise with his recent remix of ‘Run This Town’.
One quote that stood out to me was this:
ASIANCE: What Asian artists do you follow?
Demo: Um honestly I don’t follow really any Asian artist out there because there really aren’t any Asian artist, well hip hop wise, MAKING a huge buzz. I just hope I can be that buzz for other Asian hip hop artist out there to follow.

Demo (of D-League) Remixes ‘Run This Town’
Check the quick street music video of Demo from D-League and his remix of the huge Jay-Z x Rihanna hit ‘Run this Town’.
He did his thing, can’t hate on that. It doesn’t touch the original but I dont think that was the point either.
