In an awesome meeting of East & West, Roscoe Umali (along with SJ) and Miss Info have been on tour together in Korea and linked up with frequent collaborators Tiger JK and Tasha. In the picture above you can see Tasha, Roscoe, Tiger JK, SJ, Miss Info, and DJ Shine 2.0 Bizzy all sat down for an interview. What an epic moment in music history.

The past day or so Roscoe Umali has been tweeting some incredibly exciting news that I’ll just quote verbatim.

In general, all I can say is OH… EM… GEE. So it looks like there’s gonna be another track with Roscoe, DT, and Tasha onboard, only it’ll be produced by the legendary Illmind. ON TOP OF THAT, it seems like their gonna join Lupe Fiasco and Kanye West for a show in Korea on August 9th!!!!!! I’m very seriously considering draining my funds and buying a plane ticket to Korea, cause where else can you see that line up?

This track is a MUST-LISTEN. Definitely one of the nicest hip-hop tracks I’ve heard this year and it features a TON of artists that we regularly feature on a-Tunes. Rakaa Iriscience has put together this mega track for his upcoming album Crown of Thorns set to drop July 20th. Check out this line up!

Tasha, Tiger JK, Roscoe Umali, Chiefsons, Dumbfoundead, Tassho Pearce, Epik High, Jay Jaballas and King Kapisi all jumped on this beat produced by the one and only DJ Honda.

Tiger JK and Roscoe Umali have been collabing for a decade now, and their friendship/working relationship show no signs of slowing down. Roscoe tweeted today about the shooting of an MV with Ol Dirty Tiger himself along with the first lady of Korean Hip-Hop Tasha.

JK & Tasha are in town at LA for this year’s Superstar K auditions.

Speaking of which, hopefully we’ll have some exciting news for you soon on that front but that’s a completely different story =P.

JK aka Drunken Tiger has got a new interview up with KoME. It’s a little bit of a lengthy read but it’s a great way to find out how he got into music, his earliest influences, what he’s got planned for 2010, and what it’s like to be part of a “The Movement”. They discuss a whole range of topics and you all shouldnt miss this.

This is crazy… will dumb become a part of the Movement?

For a long time now there has been a website for Drunken Tiger fans called drunkencamp.com. Updated started to get sporadic as time went on so I started checking on it less and less but I discovered today that they have relaunched as a blog!

The owner of the site has been able to follow DT & the Movement camp’s activities in Korea and has captured a video messages of Tiger JK, Tasha, Roscoe Umali, Rakaa, and producer TechBeatz while they were all in Korea recently.

The videos are admittedly a couple months old but I doubt many of you have seen this. It’s good to hear them showing love to their fans all around the world.

A few weeks back Roscoe Umali had tweeted about performing at a bboy event held in korea. Well full event details have been released and it turns out it’s going to be a joint stage concert event on September 27th also featuring Dumbfoundead, Drunken Tiger, Epik High & Rakaa (of Dilated Peoples). What an incredible line up! If you’re in Korea, this is a can’t miss event!

Seems like Rakaa’s been going in deep with Korean artists, already featuring on both Drunken Tiger & Epik High’s latest albums.

The tracklisting for Epik High’s upcoming album [e] has just been released and as expected dumbfoundead & Kero One are on the album. Also, Rakaa of Dilated Peoples will also feature, following his contribution to Drunken Tiger’s latest album ‘Feel Ghood Muzik‘. It’s a double disc album so there’s gonna be a lot of music. Looking forward to this release.

According to a tweet, Roscoe Umali will be performing at the World B-Boy Championships in Korea on Sept 27th.

He name drops Drunken Tiger but it is yet to be determined whether or not they will be performing together. I’m guessing yes, and if that’s the case it should be pretty dope.
