Watch a Visual for Jay Park x Dumbfoundead’s “You Know How We Do”

Just last week, Jay Park released his new mixtape, Fresh Air: Breathe It, including the song “You Know How We Do”, featuring Jonathan Park (no relation) aka Dumbfoundead. Though this isn’t exactly an official music video, a clip was put together using footage from Jay’s recent tour stops in DC & NY of the duo performing the track. At the very least, it’s an entertaining way to stream the song.

Rekstizzy x Decipher x Lyricks x Dumbfoundead

I saw this recently over at Gumship and thought the image was too cool not to share. The illustration is by Jaeil Cho, and depicts four prominent Asian-American artists at a table – namely Rekstizzy, Decipher, Lyricks, and Dumbfoundead. Most have shared track time with each other in various guest collaborative combinations, but this image captures them in a way that no photo could. Props to Jaeil and his creative talent.

DFD Presents “COTDAMN”

DFD debuted a new Hip-Hop track today called “COTDAMN”. This particular song features some spacey production by LO-DEF. In addition, Dumb has also paired it with a little in-studio psuedo-MV while at Chalice Studios. It’s a no-frills, clean simple watch as he paces the floor and spits his bars, and as a bit of fan service, the track is a free download - available here.

DFD Unveils the MV for “Cell Phone” ft Breezy Lovejoy & Wax

From his self-titled album, DFD is pushing his latest single “Cell Phone”. Although the album has several collabs with Breezy & Wax, this is the only one to feature both. Dumb continues to keep things interesting on the visual front, with a fun narrative to match the song’s next-morning blues. There are several cameos too, including Traphik, among others – as well as Arika & Leah as the leading ladies.

Traphik Announces the ‘Cruise Control’ Mixtape; Due April 1st

Recently, Dumb started a series of short interviews called The Hotbox, and the latest installment features a particularly interesting subject, famed Music Video director Joseph Kahn. They gets to talking about his past work and how he broke into the business and eventually land on the topic of his independent movie, Detention, which we’ve been sharing with you about over the course of the past year. We get to learn a little bit more about the film and specifically the role that Dumbfoundead plays in it.

Detention (Movie Starring Dumbfoundead) to Have Limited Nationwide Opening April 13th

We’ve been hearing about the Joseph Kahn directed movie Detention for over a year now, but it looks like the film starring Dumbfoundead (among others like Dane Cook) will finally have it’s nationwide (albeit limited) opening on April 13th.
