This track is a MUST-LISTEN. Definitely one of the nicest hip-hop tracks I’ve heard this year and it features a TON of artists that we regularly feature on a-Tunes. Rakaa Iriscience has put together this mega track for his upcoming album Crown of Thorns set to drop July 20th. Check out this line up!

Soompi keeps churning out these interviews! This time they got to talk with MYK, of the Map the Soul crew over in Korea. He is a Korean American from the Bay area that moved to Korea and ended up linking up with Tablo of Epik High fame and the rest is history. You can hear all about how it happened, along with his thoughts and advice for the Asian Hip-Hop community. I could barely recognize the dude without his long hair haha!

Hip Hop group Epik High released their “epilogue” album yesterday and it was confirmed by many, including Tablo himself, that fans worldwide peaked them at the number one spot on the iTunes hip hop album chart!

Both their comeback track and album have been more then positively received and if you buy the album via iTunes, you will also receive digital booklet of the album itself. Congrats to Epik High!

Tablo & MYK have teamed up to release a new single called ‘For the Kids’ along with an MV. The video is a quick, low budget piece shot all in one day. The two MCs spit over the beat to “Passin’ Me By” by Pharcyde and although its nothing fancy its some good old fashioned hip-hop. Oh, and the track is available for download, completely free of charge.

A few weeks back Roscoe Umali had tweeted about performing at a bboy event held in korea. Well full event details have been released and it turns out it’s going to be a joint stage concert event on September 27th also featuring Dumbfoundead, Drunken Tiger, Epik High & Rakaa (of Dilated Peoples). What an incredible line up! If you’re in Korea, this is a can’t miss event!

Seems like Rakaa’s been going in deep with Korean artists, already featuring on both Drunken Tiger & Epik High’s latest albums.
