Snapshot: Jay Park x AJ Rafael x Traphik

Jay Park x AJ Rafael x Traphik

This is an awesome pic we found on twitter of Jay Park, AJ Rafael, and Traphik posing together. Always encouraging to see artists cultivating relationships on both a professional and personal level. I believe this picture was taken at the ISA LA event from earlier this month but don’t quote me on that. For the uninformed, Jay Park is a former member of the KPop group 2PM before being forced out of the group and branching off on his own international career. AJ Rafael is one of the earliest singers to gain a following on Youtube and has steadily built up his career in the past few years. Traphik is a comedian/rapper/media personality known for his outlandish videos and various projects across several mediums.

Say Cheese!

It’s only been a couple weeks since the sold ISA LA 2010 event but I thought it’d be great to share this pic I came across of many of the faces involved with this years show. In this picture taken by Pacific Rim, we got Wong Fu, AJ Rafael, FM & Jay Park – representing as International Secret Agents. I hate to admit but I geek out at the thought of so much talent working together. It’s so incredible to see so much support, cooperation and fellowship within the artistic community.

Congrats to Sam Ock & Lan for Winning the ISA Breakout Performer Contest!

The 2nd installment of the ISA Breakout Performer contest results are in and it looks like Sam Ock & Lan are this years winners! (The inaugural contest was won by a little someone known as Clara Chung). This is an awesome moment for both musicians as the competition was fierce including other immensely talented artists like Esna Yoon and 2 other finalists along with 5 other semi-finalists. I’m sure it was incredibly tough to choose the winner but Sam & Lan took top honors along with the opportunity to perform at ISA LA & NY respectively. Here are the two winning videos:

Wong Fu Announces ISA 2010 in LA and NY

There’s really not much I can say that isn’t said in their official announcement so I’ll let you read it below!

Get ready everyone, ISA 2010 is coming soon. And this time… BOTH coasts can get excited. That’s right. For the first time since we started the International Secret Agents concerts in 2008, we’re taking it out of California with two concerts in one week!

Mark your calendars!

ISA New York City – August 28th
ISA Los Angeles – September 5th

Venues, tickets, times, performers…all that info will be announced as time gets closer, for now, get excited and pass on the news. Tickets have not gone on sale yet.

This is a really big deal for us. We started this concert series in 2008 with our bros Far East Movement. Never really thought it’d catch on the way it has, but because of your support and enthusiasm to see the artists, we’ve had 3 sold out shows (LA08, SF09, LA09). And now for the first time we’re expanding to another city. In the future we hope to take it to more cities, but this is just our first step. Something else that’s new is this two show format. In the past, we’ve always handled one concert at a time, but this year, we’re planning two concerts two weekends in a row. It’s a lotta work, and stress, but you know that for WF and FM, it’s totally worth it when we see your faces smiling in the crowd and and hear the cheers.

We’re doing all we can to make ISA 2010 bigger and better, so hope to see you there!
